My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Have tickets to Air Supply at Medina Ballroom on September 26. Who wants to join me?

About me and who I am looking for:

I hope to encounter that one special person with whom I can expand my collection of life experiences, taking ordinary moments together and recapturing them as extraordinary memories along the way.

Now, if you are here to discover that one-in-a-million catch, I can’t help you there. However, if you prefer that once-in-a-lifetime match, then keep reading. I promise you just might find exciting possibility written all over this one! If you are intelligent, insightful, active and open-minded and ready for the first day of the best of your life, then keep reading.

When we first meet, if you sense a genuine, ambitious, intelligent, kind-hearted and fun loving individual, then please do not waver from that initial conclusion. With me, what you see is what you get. No drama (not even yours); no games; just the real deal.

The very least you should know about me: I have seen U2 in concert nine times and have been a fan since 1982. (However, I also enjoy the classic 70s bands such as REO, Foghat, Boston, AC/DC); I love to engage in acts of kindness towards others when I can, such as opening a door for someone or helping out on a project; I work out at the gym about 3-5 times a week (No, I am not a total gym rat, but I can still see my belly button when I look down!); and I don’t know what I ever did before I discovered Netflix. (House of Cards, Dexter or Orange is the New Black, anyone?)

Of all my primary senses in life, I would have to say that my sense of humor and my sense of adventure typically lead the pack. No matter where I go or what I do, fun and laughter are usually on the agenda, and when opportunity knocks to learn, explore or experience something new and exciting, you probably won’t hear me complain about the noise! I have an insatiable appetite for knowledge and learning and would pair well with a woman whose quick wit and curious intellect allow for those conversations over anything and everything in which we may find ourselves lost for hours, yet even in those moments of silence between us, when our hearts speak louder than words, we will both still feel right at home.

Living a fit and active lifestyle is important to me, so I would love to find a woman who doesn’t mind rolling up her sleeves and wiping the sweat off her brow on occasion. However, she is also at home when getting all dressed up for a fun night out on the town. Like me, she is a work in progress when it comes to exploring the world around her and learning new things. She is also very interested in developing a long-term relationship built upon mutual respect, love, affection and intimacy on all levels.

I admire a woman of confidence and purpose, yet who shuns ego and arrogance. Instead, she is one for whom kindness is an instinct, honesty is a lifestyle and laughter is a habit. Of course, a beautiful smile will also buy a lot with me.

I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I'm very versatile and can knock out home and auto repair as a DIYer and turn around and present to Fortune 500 execs. The ease of adapting to different situations allows me to go from city to country or black tie to blue jeans without missing a beat.

For Fun:

Multifaceted yet far from complicated, I enjoy cultural things, such as museums, art and plays just as much as being outside (running, walking, biking, sailing). I love to relax and watch a movie or kick back with friends around a bonfire.

Favorite Hot Spots:

Although my travel diary is still rather slim, I am excited to one day make my passport my favorite book. I would love to explore Europe, most notably Germany and France. Greece, too…or perhaps a winter escape to a tropical beach! Let’s roll!

Favorite things:

I have an adventurous palate and enjoy sushi, Thai food, pizza, burgers, pasta…I am not too particular. I can easily transition from a five-star ambiance to a local hole-in-the-wall, too. I love all genres of music, but U2 speaks to my soul.

Last read:

I love a good page-turner and am a fan of author Stephen Ambrose…Band of Brothers and Citizen Soldiers.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
In no particular order ... let's just say would not want to do without.
(Of course -- friends, family and the love of a woman)

1. The quiet of the woods on a fall or winter's morning--serenity!
2. A partner who loves being active.
3. Sex.
4. U2 (music for my soul).
5. Learning (need to challenge my mind).
6. Whitetail deer hunting - a deal breaker for me. Ask why.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How I can give back more and make a difference.

*Going for a walk
*Enjoying coffee at my local coffee bar
*Watching a Netflix movie -- wine and cuddling anyone?!
