My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am a math/science nerd cleverly disguised as an artist.

Something that both describes me and the people I am closest with: a really big heart and a kinda fucked up sense of humor.

I think the world would be a better if everyone had a little Andy Dwyer (from Parks and Recreation) in them. I know he isn't the most intelligent person ever, but I admire he unabashed enthusiasm for life. Also he does not have a mean bone in his body.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Doing set lighting for film and television. I just got into the union for it and am super excited about it. I spent awhile trying to find something that satisfies both my artsy and math/science sides and set lighting does it for me.

Making, showing, and selling my art (mostly sculpture).

I like getting outdoors and being active. I ride my bike as much as I can.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Having interesting things happen to me out of context.

Finding the beauty in everyday objects
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
As cliché as it is, I am told my smile and/or my one and a half dimples

recently I have let my facial hair grow out into a full beard and have gotten a lot of comments on that. Usually from people saying they normally don't like beards but they like mine.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: my favorite author is Chuck Palahniuk

TV: Breaking Bad, Community, HIMYM, Game of Thrones, Sons of Anarchy, Big Bang Theory, Castle, Daily Show, Parks and Recreation, The League, Dexter, Top Gear (UK), Modern Family, Suits, White Collar, etc

Music: It depends on my mood. Usually at any one time there are 3-5 bands that I am listening to over and over again. Some of the bands that I been in the rotation recently are: Alt-J, Portugal The Man, Arcade Fire, The Lumineers, Motion City Soundtrack, Twenty One Pilots, Macklemore, Smallpools, Imagine Dragons, The Postal Service, Brand New, Girl Talk, Andrew Bird, Grouplove, Peter Bjorn and John, and The Streets.

Food: For the month of January went vegetarian. I enjoyed it more than I expected and have a new found appreciation for how tasty vegetarian/vegan can be. I love spicy food and have yet to find someone with a higher tolerance or a chef that can make me something too spicy. I like most types of food but especially like Thai and Indian food. I also love Lucifer’s Pizza (blazing hot Prosciutto-Pollo is heaven on earth). I will always have a special place in my hear for Patty’s (a hole in the wall Mexican place by my alma matter)
The six things I could never do without

The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I can’t think of much I wouldn’t be willing to admit. I figure that if you are gutsy enough to ask me a personal question, then I will give you a straight answer.
