My self-summary
I'm beginning to question the value of the match percentages. I don't see that there's any real truth to them...it seems to be pretty much a crap shoot no matter what range I'm looking at.

I moved here last August to study Game Design, and I was in school around 80 hours a week until recently. I'm mostly on here looking for someone that can help me be a little bit more active. I need to go out, see the area a bit more. I've been to the Seattle Center, I've been to the market, but I haven't been much of anywhere else. I hadn't even been to downtown Kirkland until mid-April.

So, kind of a lazy guy, and I need someone that's willing to spend a good deal of time cuddling on the couch. But, they also want to get out on a fairly regular basis. Go explore the city, grab dinner, walk along Lake Washington, help me take my dog to Marymoore, etc.
What I’m doing with my life
Right now I'm enrolled at DigiPen, and studying Game Design. It's my 2nd degree (My first is a BA in Sociology), and it's my top priority right now. I'm hoping to get into the video game field, and make something that people will look back at and 20 years and feel the same way they do about Super Metroid today.

It's an adjustment. Back home I was always kind of the nerdy one...but here, I'm kind of the opposite. I can talk sports though I don't actively watch them, I know how to hook up a sound system, and I enjoy hanging out at a good bar with friends...which makes me something of an outsider at school.
I’m really good at
Learning things or figuring them out. I see things happen and try to come up with an explanation.
Picking apart movies. I often like to point out problems they have, even if I like the movie.
Video games. Ok, that might not be true...but I'm better than most, and I enjoy them.
I'd like to think I'm a good writer! I'm putting a heavy focus on this for the next few years, so hopefully I don't stink.
The first things people usually notice about me
Physically, it's probably my smile. I've always been told I have a good one. Personally I prefer my eyes, I have really cool dark blue eyes.

I'm also told I look almost exactly like Blake Shelton. Maybe not so much in my pictures, but in real life. I've been told by multiple groups of people, I used to work in retail and had customers tell me it all the time. This has probably changed since I've grown out my beard, however. It also probably doesn't help that I now live in a part of the country where almost nobody knows who that is.

The six things I could never do without
NEVER could do without is stretching it. Maybe "I would be lost without"?
1) Video Games (it is what I'm dedicating my life towards)
2) Movies
3) A watch
4) a good book
5) Blank pieces of paper and a writing utensil.
6) My dog, Sealy!
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How to survive the Zombie apocalypse. I mean, can zombies really navigate stairs? Can they swim? Why are they always shown climbing stairs but not able to get across bodies of water? I would say that doggy paddling takes a lower level of motor function than climbing up and down stairs.

Wondering why the History channel rarely shows any history programs. Ancient Aliens is not history...Pawn Stars...maybe a little. I miss the days that they used to show nothing but WW2 footage though.

Wondering why over 90% of the profiles on here use one of these terms: "I'm kind of a nerd" or "I never know what to say about myself" or "I consider myself queer, not bisexual". I don't know what ANY of those things mean...because they don't mean anything. Liking Lord of the Rings doesn't make you a nerd. Nobody knows what to say about themselves, and everyone is "queer"...Kinsey already covered that back in the 40's & 50's.
On a typical Friday night I am
Usually doing school work. The summer is a light load, so I'm probably playing with my dog, watching movies, playing video games...wishing I had someone to cuddle with.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I sometimes wish I wore glasses. I feel like I don't look smart enough without them...
I’m looking for
  • Girls who like guys
  • Ages 18–40
  • Near me
  • For new friends, long-term dating, short-term dating
You should message me if
You want to talk. Don't favourite me, don't rate me, just send me a message...I'd much rather talk, and I'm totally down with the girl making first contact.

You want to go with me and my dog to Marymoore Park.

You know of any good movie theaters/non-asian food joints in the area.

You would like to play a game. No, really, I kind of want to get Mario Kart, but have no one to play it with...and sadly my tears are no good at keeping me company :-(. (yes, this is a joke...at least the part about my tears)
