I graduated from Michigan State University with a bachelor’s degree in video game design cause games are cool, yo. I recently returned to State for grad school... apparently I can't stay away from Sparty. I've been spending my time split across research projects and teaching a few of the undergrad game design courses there.
I'd say I'm pretty laid back and quick witted (read: smart-ass). I live for amusing conversations and the occasional nerd-out moment.
I am a huge Red Wings and Tigers fan, go out on occasion for a nice drink or three, and talk far too much. I'm also a complete goof.
Video games are a large part of my career path, but I also try to keep myself active and in good health. I run every morning before work, which helps keep me from adhering to various computer chairs.
Some random things I enjoy:
1080p YouTube videos, Pandora Radio, waking up to text messages, Miguel Cabrera Home Runs (currently anyone with the last name Martinez), how Netflix auto-queues the next video, rainy day smell, pb&j's, the Red Wing's goal horn, fruit smoothies, saying "that's what she said" at the opportune moment, cooking websites, sleeping in, pita bread and hummus, and silly Canadian accents.
