My name is Mike. I laugh in the face of life's troubles, keep a cool head under stress, and value true friendship more than anything else in life.

I have a very up-front geeky side. I love gaming, drawing, anime & manga, sci-fi/fantasy, attending conventions and cosplay! So don't freak out if I geek out! The immersion in sci-fi/fantasy is what keeps me artistically motivated!

Keeping my friends close and learning when to weed out the negative in my life.

I hold a degree in both Computer Graphic Design and Illustration. My current job isn't quite what I'd like to be doing (though it's in the same field) but I'm close to getting an actual graphic designer position. In the meantime I must exercise my creativity on my own time.

I also devote a lot of time towards getting into shape. I try my best to eat right and usually attend the gym 4-5 days a week. I signed up for Warrior Dash this year so it's time to start training!

A lot of artsy stuff! I'm good at drawing, computer art, I'm a fair painter, and I've put together a few costumes for conventions.

I love shooting pool, and my father (a pool shark in his youth) is the only one I know who can beat me every time. I promise I'll try to go easy on you. :-P

Goes without saying I'm good at gaming too, though it depends on the game. I'd probably be the first to get shot in the head in Call of Duty.

My favorite game series' are The Legend of Zelda, Sonic and Megaman. Former Warcraft player. Hugely interested in RPGs.

I love movies and can generally get into anything with good characters, drama, action, and comedy. My favorites would be The Lord of the Rings trilogy, Scott Pilgrim v. The World, and almost any superhero, Disney/Pixar/Miyazaki, or James Bond film.

My favorite books are The Lord of the Rings and the "His Dark Materials" trilogy. If you've read the latter, I like you already, haha! Of course I also like the Harry Potter books and, randomly enough, the old classic "The Good Earth."

My musical tastes are all over the place but I mostly like rock. Love the sound and lyrics of Rise Against. Obsessed with The Protomen. Name any 90s rock band and I probably like them.

out with friends or working. I'd describe the perfect night as catching a movie or going to an arcade, followed by hitting up a 24-hour restaurant and chatting for hours over a late-night dinner.
