Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
North Carolina transplant. Originally from Memphis by way of lifes
grand twists. I'm intrigued by life in North Carolina, easy access
to the mountains and the ocean have been high on my list of must
haves for a while so landing here felt a bit serendipitous. I've
lived in large cities to small towns. I've ridden my bike through
most every state and a few points in Canada. All that to say I have
worked to develop a broad view of the world and a really fun
collection of pictures I've snapped along the way. Bike rides, well
prepared meals, giving and helping others are among my passions in
life. The appeal of Left brain Right brain variance keeps me
motivated and engaged in my pursuits, and I'm really excited to
embark on a new journey into Social work as a new challenge
professionally. Other bits of note: I have a thing for bad puns; am
always tempted by the allure of travel(international especially);
have a deep passion for nature; love taking in the arts and will
travel to a cool concert with little to no warning.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Day to day I meditate, study up for the GRE (ugh stadardized
tests), look to catch a bike ride, and seeking ways to make
someone's day better. Equally enjoyable is chilling behind a camera
trying to document how the world looks through these eyes, singing/
rapping along as I ride, hitting up the gym, and seeking out a disc
golf course to play.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I have a really strong empathetic nature and enjoy helping others
in various phases of life. I'm quick to introduce laughter and easy
to smile because those two things can brighten most any day.
I'm equally comfortable attending an art gallery opening or a
basketball game. Its all about adaptability and diversity for me.

My at ease nature. Being tall also helps.

I love cuisines of the far east. Thai, Vietnamese, Korean,
Japanese, Indian. I also LOVE Mediterranean fare. I have a thing
with finding the worlds best Reuben. If you are a breakfast
aficionado, we will probably be friends. And it doesn't have to be
in the morning.
Reading is FUNdamental. Some favorites: Tom Robbins, Terry
Pratchet, Margaret Atwood, Neal Stephenson, Steve Martin, PD James,
George Carlin, David Sedaris, etc.
I enjoy some podcasts and have a weakness for watching basketball.
Otherwise standup comedy and a Netflix suggestion are usually met
with enthusiasm and jotting so's I dont forget.
I grew up with music weaved into the fabric of my culture, so this
list is diverse to say the least. I always up for learning a new
artist. Suggestions are forever appreciated. Small sample: Civil
Wars, Angelique Kidjo, Tv on the Radio, Talking Heads, The Roots,
Cinematic Orchestra. Little secret is I love some Rogers &
Hammerstien. Theatre kid what can I say.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Music(someone elses or something I get to play with).
Color. My career has been based on playing in color and a life with
out it is unfathomable.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Counseling as a career, 'Who framed Roger Rabbit'; Great movie or
Greatest movie? I also enjoy mapping out bike rides and figuring
out when I can slip in a round of disc golf.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Trying to take over the world! Right, Brain what we gone do after
that? Often my Fridays are filled with work and my schedule

You think we could make each other laugh, think, or feel something
kind of cool. I'm also quite open to building new friendships and
