My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I recently finished grad school and just moved from Florida to Phoenix. I am still in the process of adapting to the change of environment (read: it’s damn hot) but I am enjoying discovering new places and things to do!

Like I said before moving here I lived in Florida for about 6 years studying in the aerospace field as well as something called human factors. I can be really passionate about anything that flies and yes I still have the childhood dream to become an astronaut. I’m realistic about my chances but it’s still nice to think about it! I just started working for a big aerospace company which is why I moved to Phoenix. It’s an interesting job but I don’t think I’ll ever get used to the 8 to 5 cubicle routine. I’m really thankful to have gotten a job right after I finished school but hopefully it’ll only be for a couple short years!

All that aside, when I am not working I love being outside especially running, hiking and camping. I’ve been frustrated with the heat because it’s making all those things quite challenging; hopefully I’ll just get used to it! I also used to play tennis and I would really like to get back into it (probably inside tennis though). I also enjoy staying in and losing hours of sleep to Netflix. I’ve been doing a bit more of that recently with the World Cup going on, sadly most of the games are during the day… :(

Finally, a little about me: I am originally French, I was born in Paris and moved the US shortly after that. I lived most of my life in Washington DC, until moving to Florida for college. I still go back somewhat regularly to see family, which inevitably makes me realize how fast you can forget a language if you don’t use it!

Anyways, if you’ve made this far and liked what you read shoot me a message!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I pretty much can build anything that needs to be assembled and I love doing it as well. That probably stems from my Lego obsession combined with watching MacGyver re-runs when I was a kid!

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The future, specifically the capability of the Human race and the amazing things we could accomplish if we worked together instead of against each other. Even to this day I hope to see a start to such unity in my lifetime. Then I usually read the news and all my feelings of hopefulness get shot down and I proceed to find the nearest bottle of wine!
