My self-summary
Type A, bicyclist, soccer player, amateur chef. I love good beer, good music and bad movies. I've been told I have an awfully dry wit and a bit of a sarcastic streak, but my friends will vouch for me as one of the most honest, caring, reliable guys they know.

My family moved to Lincoln when I was 6, and I moved to Omaha a couple of years ago for a slight change of scenery (my job allows me to work from just about anywhere). I know the city well, but still enjoy discovering new restaurants, bars, bicycling trails, etc.

Her: Not sure I have a "type," so long as her sense of humor is on a similar wavelength as my own (i.e., she has to laugh at my goofy jokes). And she has to enjoy my cooking. Good taste in music and possession of a bicycle are also pluses.

Anything else? Feel free to ask!
What I’m doing with my life
I've worked for a small, Lincoln-based communications company for several years, but currently I'm splitting my time between working from home in my gym pants and for a large company downtown in my khakis. I'm always going to be a work-to-live kind of guy, and want to make the most out of my spare time — be it in the company of family, friends or on one of my bicycles.

Things I'm passionate about: Music (any genre, as long as it's, well, good), U.S. soccer (I travel to games, sing in the supporters' section, etc.).

Speaking of travel, I try to make it to Boston once a year to visit family. Went to London for the first time in February. Need to return to the Pacific Northwest, where I traveled each month for work for a couple of years and miss a lot.
I’m really good at
Remembering things; finding my way around a kitchen. My job also honed my skills to carry on a conversation about ... well, just about anything, really.
The first things people usually notice about me

Probably with friends, unless I'm taking it easy because I'm bicycling early Saturday morning, or getting up to watch a English Premier League soccer game.
