UPDATE (03-06-2013)
Still waiting for my visa and spending the time preparing my apartment for sale, while selling off most of my possessions.
Lots of time on my hands after quitting my beloved television executive job. Missing it but enjoying my nice severance pay.

One side effect of having time on my hands has been getting in better shape. Not that I really needed it, but so far a simple change in habits, coupled with some discipline have resulted in an amazing 25 lb weight loss. It's been years since I've been this fit and I like it ;-) ... maybe I ought to put up fresh pictures?

What else is new?... Oh yes, I've recently developed a soft spot for the cosplaying community after watching Sci-Fi Speed Dating's amazingly heartfelt Geek Love web series and Sneaky Zebra's spirited feelgood cosplay music videos on YouTube. Check them out. You're in for a treat! Real endearing people doing what they love and loving what they do!

Thanks for your nice letters and sorry I haven't answered them, but between renovating the apartment for sale, selling all my stuff and battling authorities over building codes, approvals and documents, checking OKC is not my main priority right now.

I'm currently back in Denmark and expect to return to LA in the spring. Feel free to write me if you like and I'll try to answer. However I probably won't be able to date or meet with you for a while. :-)

ANYWAY, HERE GOES...
I'm a dark blonde, Blue eyes, Fun loving, Outgoing, Liberal, Open minded, Creative, Inventive, Loyal, Fun, Humorous, Adventurous, Easy going, Life loving, Brainy, World curious, Investigative, Erotic, Tactile, Experienced, Well traveled, Educated, Outspoken, Open book, No games, No BS... type of guy.

I'm from Copenhagen, Denmark, but for the last 15 years L.A. has been my second home. I'm absolutely in love with this place and I've finally decided to move here permanently. Currently I'm in the process of applying for a VISA and I hope to make the switch early 2013.

I'm an accomplished executive producer, specializing in TV entertainment and comedy formats. I work with actors, comedians, writers, designers, editors, artists, directors and producers on a daily basis and I'm very good at what I do.

I'm hoping to stumble across the love of my life, but I'm also aware that it rarely 'just' happens, unless you make an effort. I've loved before and as everyone else, I've also experienced being burned, being wrong and being misled. But I refuse to become jaded by it. I believe in love and kindness and Karma. I believe in being happy and I believe in making it happen. So this is me, holding my heart up and putting myself out there... Hi, how're you doing? ;-)

Besides spending my time preparing for the big move, I'm networking, making connections and laying the foundation for my new life.

But it's not all work. I'm also having fun, hanging out with friends, exploring the city and fantasizing about all the amazing things I'm gonna be experiencing here for the rest of my life - including falling in love with you!

I also love traveling around the globe. I've been so incredibly lucky that my productions have taken me all over the world and given me amazing experiences. From bathing in the Blue Lagoon in Iceland and running from corrupt soldiers in Russia to Jeep trekking in Kenya and scuba diving in the Philippines. I just lost my heart to Australia, after shooting for a month in the amazing outback.
And there's still a lot of places left to explore. I'd like to see Japan. I'd like to see more of Australia. I'd like to do some more diving, this time in Egypt... and I'd love to have you with me!

Oh... and I'd really like to learn to surf, now that I'm becoming a Californian... and take up skiing again. I miss that!

My work obviously... but hey, that's not what you want to know ;-)

I'm great at enjoying life. Having fun and being funny. I like meeting people and relating. I'm a problemsolver, negotiator and inspirator. I'm a thinker and a tinkerer, and my think tank is full of crazy ideas and impossible thoughts. I'm an entrepreneur. I'm a writer, an artist and a wannabe musician. I'm a closet comedian, loving irony and sarcasm. I'm a fiercely loyal friend and caring confidante. I'm great in bed and I love to cook... Holy crap, I'm a woman?... Nooooo... I'm a manly man, cool, calm and collected. Confident in my abilities, and while I do have the need to constantly improve myself, I don't have a constant need to prove myself.
I'm an empath and a really good judge of character. And while I'm patient, soft spoken and well mannered - I like to open the door for my lady - you would be wrong to think you can take advantage of me. I'm wise enough to sense the difference. And although I've got some mileage on me, I'm not here to be your sugar daddy or fulfill your inordinate hope chest fantasies. I'm here to be your best friend, your soul mate and hopefully the most fun you ever had in bed.

Oh come on, you gotta suck too?

Oh yeah - I'm a human being. Stupidity and narrow-mindedness ticks me off. I have no patience for that. I shout at other drivers behind the safety of my windscreen. I'm too chicken to ever shout at them for real. What if they actually heard me? I'm not fat, but I don't have a sixpack either. I'm bad at working out regularly, because of a back injury - and the fact that it bores the heck out of me. I hate staring into someone's sweaty ass at spinning class, so I'd rather hike or ride my bike out in the real world. It's one of those things, that I want to become better at - perhaps inspired by your awesomeness? If you're into chest hair, I'm afraid I must disappoint you. I'm a hairless puppy. It takes me a month to grow something just resembling a template for a moustache. I keep falling off my bike, breaking my bones. I've got a bad back, I wear contacts and I fart for fun. I'm missing a toe due to a knife throwing accident in kindergarten and half a nut due to being mugged... seriously!
But don't worry. Everything that's supposed to work still works perfectly! ;-)

I also enjoy eating meat, drinking a beer and watching TV. So if you're a vegetarian, a prude or believe in TV rotting your brain, you're SOOL!

And to be honest I'm older that the 40 stated above. It's only there due to the discriminate search filtering. Also I look way younger than I am and that suits me fine, cause it fits perfectly with what's inside. I look like I'm 38, I think like I'm 28 and I jump around in bed like I'm 18.

Shows:
It's much more than shows. It's every kind of live experience. I'm a sucker for amusement parks and roller coasters. I've been known to squeeze in a loop-de-loop on my way home from work, just to clear my head. I've skied, I've skydived and I've scuba dived. I've raced go carts, segways and roller skates. I play board games, mini golf and hooky equally well. I'm a former national pinball champion and I think Lego's are amazing and inspiring. I just love new experiences. From musicals, concerts and stand-up comedy to exhibitions and fairs. I'm equally at home at Farmers markets, Flea markets, Police auctions or Gala premieres. If it's live and out there, I'm curious. I'd love to check out the space shuttle. I just saw Eddie Izzard perform exclusively for only 50 people, I'm looking forward to the annual John Williams concert at The Bowl and I'm bummed about missing the Book of Mormon. I can't even go to Home Depot or Albertsons without exploring all of their shelves. You name it, I'm game!... Oh speaking of games... I love board game nights too!

Movies:
I'm a movie buff. I watch almost everything. I used to write for a movie magazine in Denmark. I have a particular soft spot for Sci-Fi, Zombies and Horror fare - and a somewhat tougher time with period pieces and foreign dramas. But give me the other stuff, including Thrillers, Epic Tales, Comedy, Blockbusters and the occasional Rom-Coms and I'm in heaven. I love losing myself in a well written, well crafted and well told story. Some of my favorite movies are Matrix (the first one), Star Wars (the classic ones naturally), Back to the Future, Indiana Jones, Shawshank Redemption, Inception, The Prestige, Cloverfield, [REC], Dawn of the Dead, Amelie, Love Actually, The Princess Bride, Rear Window, LOTR, Forrest Gump, Papillon, GoodFellas, Jaws, Edward Scissorhands, Nightmare on Elm Street, John Hughes and Luc Besson's early works, Looper, Fight Club, Cloud Atlas, Silver Lining Playbook ... oh my god, so many movies!

TV:
Because of my work I watch a lot of TV. Luckily it's something I enjoy. I sample everything in order to have an informed opinion. And naturally I have my own favorites, that I love with a passion. Again everything sci-fi, funny, creative, intelligent, heartfelt, supernatural or freaky deaky is right up my ally. Falling Skies, Revolution, Last Resort, Criminal Minds, Shark Tank, Robot Chicken, Undercover Boss, 666 Park, Alphas, Storage Wars, Got Talent, Elementary, Futurama, The Walking Dead, American Horror Story, Hell's Kitchen, Fringe, Grimm, Game of Thrones, HIMYM, The Newsroom, Mythbusters, Person of Interest, QI, The Simpsons, Touch, Warehouse 13, Eureka, Family Guy, Louie... and those are just the current ones and I haven't even started on 30 Rock yet!... Anything by Aaron Sorkin (Sports Night, West Wing, The Newsroom) and Chuck Lorre (Dharma & Greg, Two and a Half Men, Big Bang Theory). Those guys are masters in their respective genres. I guess I'm a walking, talking encyclopedia of TV ;-)

Books:
I don't get to read as much as I'd like to. It happens in spurts and then I plow through a handful of books at a time. I read mostly main stream entertainment, such as Stephen King, Dan Brown and the likes. But I've also read Tolkien, Clarke, Asimov, Bradbury, Vonnegut, Wells, Verne, Twain, Poe, Grimm, Hans Christian Andersen and even David Deida. Add to that a lot of work related news, mags and literature on a regular basis.

Music:
I think I have a somewhat 'retro' and eclectic taste in music.
I love old school melodic rock such as Alan Parsons Project, Queen, Pink Floyd, Procol Harum, Super Tramp, ELO, Marillion and E.S. Posthumus. I'm also really into 80's and 90's pop hits as well as new stuff catering to that sound, ranging from Black Eyed Peas, P!nk and Jamiroquai to Carpark North, Aqua and Daft Punk. Oh and of course the old crooners, the Rat Pack, Motown and everyone inspired by them, such as Nat King Cole, Bitter:Sweet, Lana del Rey, Amy Winehouse, Johnny Cash, Adele, Seal and Bo Kaspers Orchestra.
I sample a lot and constantly find new stuff, that I fall in love with.
The only thing I don't really get is hardcore hip hop/rap/trance/dance and Heavy Metal.

Food:
I'm not sure if I officially qualify to be a foodie? I hate that term. What is that anyway? A culinary gangsta'? A foodlum?
I just know that I love everything Asian, Thai, Chinese, Sushi with a good Japanese beer, Tex Mex, Italian, Persian, Greek, even a good American burger or crazy fusion cuisine.
And if you serve me a good pepper steak, pasta carbonara, french fries or homemade rice pudding... I'm yours for life!

Entertainment, The art of storytelling, How to make things smarter, Paying it forward, How to have more fun, Living in the present, Being happy every day. How to survive the zombie apocalypse, now that the Mayan calendar was a dud.

Either curled up on the couch with a good movie or series - Or out with friends, enjoying some of all the awesome stuff LA has to offer.

I'm a very whole and complete person, shaped by and escaped from my past, courtesy of a strong will and a bright mind. If you ask, I will answer honestly with details about my rough childhood. I'm an open book, fully at peace with my past and much too busy with enjoying the present. Don't worry. I don't have any issues, demons or remnant mental disorders. I'm one of the good guys! :-)
