My self-summary
About me....hmmm...

*Mike (that's me...hi...I'll be 30 in Aug...on a Friday and I have no idea how to celebrate...help?)
*Introvert (homebody, not social, watch from the sidelines, interact well with people I know but not strangers)
*Gamer (Xbox 360...FPS 99% of the time)
*Father (son will be 5 in June, daughter would have been 6 in July)
*Son (obvious...two parents, dad passed away in 06)
*Not the holy ghost (not religious, have certain beliefs, but don't care for church or bible)
*Not a sibling (lonely)
*Liberal Centrist (I lean towards liberal, but I'm somewhat centrist politically...don't care to discuss politics much)
*Photography (mostly my son, but I love my dSLR and would really like to get involved in more architecture and other types of photography)
*Cars (I like sports cars and anything that can be modified...I am a backyard mechanic and do 99% of my own auto work...just can't weld)
*Jack Reacher books (Author Lee Child...amazing books with a little bit of everything...they're adventurous and exciting and action/language packed)

I don't know what my plans are for the future. I know what I'd like to do, but will I actually do them? I want to go to school for electronics technology. I like tinkering with electronics, tearing them apart, putting them back together, occasionally repairing or changing things. I also like the idea of going for robotics automation. I'd like to own my own place again some day, but probably not a house this time...townhome perhaps. Owning my own business would be nice...I'm thinking liquor store because I've worked in one and understand the day to day operations and now I work on the other side for a distributor delivering liquor to stores/bars/etc.

I like music...who doesn't. I like a variety, but I'm not as open minded as so many other people seem to be. I'm not really into mellow...I like more upbeat stuff. Examples...KQ92 and 93X are my go to stations for the radio. The Current is in my presets but I don't listen much. KDWB mostly for the morning show, but sometimes I'll catch songs I like. I guess I'd say give me classic rock or alternative rock and I'm happiest.

I like movies too. Go figure. I'll watch seriously anything. There are movies I watch and I don't really like, but I still watch them. I'm into thrillers and comedy the most.

Food is good...all kinds...I won't turn too many things down (in the "normal" aspect of food). I like whiskey (2Gingers is my favorite right now)...beer (keep it less hoppy usually...Nordeast, Surly Hell, Tilburg's, Surly Coffee Bender...but I do like trying other craft and foreign beers anytime).

I don't eat healthy, I'm not really active. But...I am about to try P90X to see if I can kick my own ass. I have a goal to be in good shape (not 6-pack amazing shape, but good shape) by 30. Well I've got 4 months...so May 1st I will begin and one of three things will happen. 1)I'll enjoy it and do well. 2)I'll kill myself. 3)I'll quit and never work out again.
I'm going to start cutting out pop and substitute a lot more water, but I'm sure I'll splurge once in a while. I'm also going to try to change my diet just a little to help with P90X. Can't expect miracles.

That's me in a nutshell. Nothing super exciting, but I'm a nice guy. I like to try new things. I'm courteous and considerate. According to others I'm honest to a fault. I have my flaws like other people do. I'm not the happiest with my current job (trying to change that). I am somewhat compulsive from time to time. I'm not super neat and orderly (I've gotten better at keeping my space clean, but it's messy...I suppose that comes with having a soon to be 5 year old).
What I’m doing with my life
Well I'm about to start a new job next week. I'm going from full-time at a shitty job to part-time at a job that has potential to be great. Especially if I do go full-time with it. Besides that I plan on starting school in the fall...and if I need to or if I can find the perfect fit, I'll also get a 2nd part-time job. Other than that, see above.
I’m really good at
I'm not REALLY good at any certain thing...I'm pretty good at numerous things though.

*Bowling (used to be good at, haven't bowled at all for a couple years...did leagues for years)
*working on cars
*FPS video games and old school NES and SNES games
*a bunch of other things I can't think of right now...oh well.
The first things people usually notice about me
Why don't you meet me and then I'll take note?

I would guess glasses, tattoos, that I'm built pretty stocky...muscular but not without fat.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
See above.

Also, I will mention that I do enjoy reading, but it's extremely hard for me to get into books...I truly enjoy the Reacher books (Author Lee Child)...do not use the movie Reacher as a basis for understanding the books...sadly it is nothing like the books.

I also have "The Zombie Survival Guide", but I haven't read it yet. I know I will need to eventually, but not yet (and I will someday put together my survival pack just in case something does happen...and if it doesn't, well I'll have an awesome pack for camping or survival if I get lost in the wilderness somewhere).
The six things I could never do without
*Watch...it's more of a "I like having it on my wrist" type of thing.
*Milk...because milk. With Ovaltine even better.
*Music and Movies...because I need to listen to something when I'm working and I like to watch movies in my down time.
*Hearing and Sight....how can I listen to music or watch movies without these....and for other reasons.

Screw the system...I'm adding a 7th.

*Car...as much as I would enjoy riding a bike around (plan to get one), I need a car for commuting to work, I'm not a city person, it's not the same. And forget public transportation, no time or patience for that shit.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Well I think all day long, but I couldn't tell you what my thoughts are...they're usually random. I do think out loud a bit so you might know what I'm thinking from time to time.
On a typical Friday night I am
At home, with my son, doing something, maybe watching a movie, playing a game, hanging out.

I should also throw in that while doing P90X, that is the end of my typical night. But of course I won't be doing P90X forever.

This could also change depending on if my ex and I change the schedule we have with our son...I have him weekends right now, but I may take him more during the week when he starts kindergarten in the fall so my Friday's may be open to dating or hanging out with friends or who knows what.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm poor. I'm hoping to win the lottery, but I don't have high hopes for it. Too much of a realist and not enough optimist.

I'm also hoping that going to school will fix this. Time will tell.
I’m looking for
  • Girls who like guys
  • Ages 23–37

You should message me if

Whether you're looking for a relationship, friendship, or whatever else, I'd be interested in talking to you.
