My self-summary
I have a busy life during school season, but I'm here looking to date and spend time with someone on my free time. I'm not here to hook up, so please don't add me to that category of guys on here. If I sent you a message, its probably because I found something about you interesting.

I'm into a variety of things. I grew up as a PC gamer, metalhead, and a huge geek. I like almost anything Sci-Fi and history related. Most games I play are military strategies (ie: Starcraft and anything made by Sid Meier) and I watch a lot of History Channel documentaries and listen to history podcasts. I think the history/military/SciFi interests were passed down from my dad lol.

Aside from Sci-Fi things, I like real life science things. I watch a lot of science documentaries and listen to science podcasts as well. Carl Sagan is one of my favorite historical figures.

I'm a US Navy veteran (2010-2014). I never saw myself joining the military, so I literally did it on a whim. Now that I'm out, I'm attending school to see where that takes me. I've been employed with UPS for 10yrs.

I consider myself in between fit and average build. I enjoy walks, hikes, bike rides, and things like that, but I'm not hardcore into fitness. I just to try to stay healthy by eating healthy and being active. My job usually keeps the lbs off.
What I’m doing with my life
School and work absorb most of my life. I'm on track to earning my AA by the end of 2016. Beyond that, I'm hoping to further my education in science or history. My current career interest is environmental geology.
I’m really good at
I'd say I'm really good at strategy games. I grew up playing MSDOS classics like Civilization, Master of Orion, X-Com and many others. I've been a huge fan of Blizzard games since the original release of Warcraft II. Since then, Starcraft: Brood War has been my favorite strategy game of all time (my upper left arm is sleeved with Zerg tattoos). Other than video games, I love chess and Risk.

Aside from strategy games, I also really like arcade fighters. I've been a Street Fighter fan for as long as I've been a Warcraft/Starcraft fan. I've won a few open tournaments for Street Fighter II & IV. Beyond Street Fighter, more favorites include: Guilty Gear, Marvel VS Capcom, Dark Stalkers, Injustice, and Killer Instinct. You may notice I don't have Mortal Kombat listed. That's mostly because suck at it!!
The first things people usually notice about me
I am openly nerdy. I tend to talk a lot about history, video game series, and science things a lot.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I really like reading Marvel and DC comics. I'm not a total comic expert, but I've read my fair share of the main continuities. Other things I have read are books from the Starcraft series as well as Star Wars. I don't read quite often, but every once in a while I'll pick up a comic or book and indulge.

As far as movies go: The Empire Strikes Back is the best movie ever made. How can you argue with that? I watch a lot of other science fiction and action movies. Some of my favorite movies are: Forrest Gump, The Shawshank Redemption, Predator, Starship Troopers, Big Fish.

TV shows: I really love science and historical shows. I could watch documentaries for hours (and I do) about the cosmos and world history. Shows I enjoy watching are The Cosmos, American Pickers, Star Trek, Parks and Recreation, Rick and Morty, Modern Marvels, Dirtiest Jobs, Star Wars: Rebels, Regular Show, Beavis and Butthead. I also watch a very small amount of animes (like Fullmetal Alchemist and Dragon Ball Z).

Music: Metal mostly. Other than that would be some industrial and oldies. A few groups to list so you get the idea: Fear Factory, The Beach Boys, Dir en Grey, Suicidal Tendencies, Obituary, Cannibal Corpse, In Flames, Bjork, Dio, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Faith No More, Hatebreed, Mayhem, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Ministry, Pantera.

Food: I'll eat the crap out of some Mexican food. Next on the list would just be a big fat beefy burger from some fancy grill house.
The six things I could never do without
1. Family
2. Friends
3. Music
4. My PC
5. Metal shows
6. My Chorizo Con Huevos (which is my Chihuahua)

Pretty generic answers. Life wouldn't be life without them though.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The universe.
On a typical Friday night I am
Probably at home with friends or watching something. Probably cooking something too. I tend to stay away from bars and be at home where it's safer and quieter.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I admit when I'm wrong. Everything's a learning experience.
You should message me if
You're interested! And please be an honest person.
