I'm your typical unrefined male, but I have a feminine side too. My sister used to dress me up as a girl when I was young and some guy painted my nails once. I looked so cute.

I love doing spontaneous things with seemingly no purpose. One time I went up to a bunch of random guys I'd never met before and joined their soccer game. I scored 4 goals in a 5-1 win and they insisted I return the next day, when I scored 5 goals in another win. They never asked me to come back again.

I came to NOVA from Eastern Europe when I was 10 and I've lived here ever since. I went to undergrad at UVA and now I'm pursuing a PhD in physics at GMU, having already finished my Masters. It's stressful but I like what I'm doing. Even though science is my passion, my formal profession involves various projects and partnerships in real estate. My hope is to become a professor one day so I can torture the young minds of America with spooky math equations.

Chess. Seriously, I could probably kick your ass in chess, and if you doubt that, I'll take your doubts as a challenge.

Being a huge nerd, I'm also good at typically nerdy things, like math and video games. I used to map hack in Warcraft. I'm not proud of it, but it got the job done until Blizzard banned my account.

My hair. And I have an unhealthy tendency to say whatever I'm thinking without the slightest pretense of caring what the rest of humanity thinks. I'd make a horrible politician (or a very entertaining one).

Music: Pretty much anything but country and bluegrass.

Books: Science and history-related non-fiction. I also love 19th century novels (War and Peace is my favorite).

Movies: Titanic and Avatar. 'Nuff said.

Food: Anything simple. I hate onions.
