My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I like to take things as they come, look for the positive, and try to continually better myself. Was that cliche enough or should I mention how laid-back I am and how much I love life?

I do love life. I also love super-heroes, horror movies, and owls - not necessarily in that order. I was born an old-soul, but refuse to grow up.

One of my favorite pastimes involves finding out the histories of those around me - hearing what has gotten them to where they are and helped shape who they have become.

I am an appreciator of small things in life. Fluffy throw blankets, bendy straws, walking barefoot in the grass, campy horror movies, smiling at strangers, etc...
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I am a front office receptionist/office assistant/jack of all trades at a small state agency, but in the near future I hope to pursue a Master's degree in Arts Administration or Business Administration.

Just moved back up to Tacoma and am in love with the area I moved to. Titlow Park and Hidden Beach are great lunch spots when the weather cooperates!

I am always searching for the perfect pair of glasses to match my personality. I dream of having a whole variety of glasses to choose from on a daily basis. Obviously you can tell my goals are high.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I find the humor in almost any situation. I also handle stressful situations well - like blowing a tire going 70 on the interstate.

I'm awesome at blaming inanimate objects for their shortcomings when it's most likely operator error.

I graduated with a bachelors in music degree, emphasis in opera performance. If you are interested in that sort of thing I have some tracks online.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Probably my slight vertical impairment - best things in small packages, right? =) Then probably my glasses/eyes. I have one dimple when I get a big grin.

I have been told by friends that they gravitated towards me because I made them laugh. They've also mentioned that I make great eye contact when conversing with someone.

I enjoy most Shakespeare (the histories can be brutal)
I love reading the Sunday comics and collecting Calvin & Hobbes and Dilbert comics
Just finished up Game of Thrones - feel free to rage with me over some of the characters and events! Now I need to start the show!

Superhero movies, occasional drama like Boy in the Striped Pajamas, animated features - including anime, cult classics like the Labyrinth or Rocky Horror Picture Show.

Buffy, Big Bang Theory, Always Sunny, South Park, Futurama, Firefly, Archer, Sherlock, Supernatural
On my list to watch: Dr. Who, Game of Thrones, How I Met Your Mother, Community

I love anything that tells a compelling story.
Especially fond of soundtracks.

Pizza. I have the best homemade dough recipe in the world - I will share if you want it!
I like making stir-fry and I have just recently discovered the joys of the sweet potato.
Caramelized sweet onions.
I'm trying to teach myself how to cook a larger variety of meals.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Music (both to listen and to perform)
Books (I read at least an hour per day during the workweek)
Live shows of some sort (comedy, theater, etc.)
Eyeglasses/contacts (I would spend life running into walls)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How tragic most of the villains from Batman's Rogues Gallery are... And how the animated series far surpassed any live-action version of the Batman universe.

How I can impact the people around me in a positive way - whether they are co-workers, friends, or strangers.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Catching up with friends - whether that is going out or staying in.

I would love to find some establishment that has one or more of the following:
Awesome karaoke
Good food
Live music
Stand up comedy nights (Just tried out Tacoma Comedy Club and loved it!)
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I've seen the majority of those really terrible, straight to DVD Disney sequels. They are all bad, with the possible, maybe, sorta exception of Bambi II.

I get a little freaked out when I look out a window at night. What if something was looking in!? What do I do!?
