I like to think that I'm fairly well balanced at least no one has called me crazy lately. However, when anyone tells me I'm not normal, I usually say thanks, have you seen what passes for normal? Maybe it would be better to just give a list of my interests and hobbies rather than a detailed description. Here's the list in no particular order: Physics, astrophysics, astronomy, quantum mechanics, chemistry, biology, science fiction, health care, advances in electronics, genetics, global warming, the environment, alternate energy technology and cooking. Hobbies:metal working (I can run a lathe and milling machine), welding (MIG, TIG, stick and gas) and even a little wood working (I've made an oak dining room table that I'm rather proud of).
I like building things and for the most part I don't mind repairing things, however I don't like to fix cars unless I have to, thay are a pain to work on.
I would like to build an energy self-sufficient house after I get out of school.

I'm currently working on my pharmD degree (pharmacy). I'll graduate in 2011.

I don't know that there is one thing that I'm really good at, I'm more of a Jack of all trades.

I really don't know. I'm too afraid to ask, don't know if my ego can take that much abuse.

Books: Science Fiction and fantasy. Movies: I like science fiction, fantasy, action, comedies, and the random romance. Music: mostly classic rock but I tend to listen to a bit of everything if I like the tune/lyrics. I have even been known to listen to some country and western songs. Food: I have been trying to explore new foods in the last year or so. I've been sampling Asian, Thai and a few others. It's interesting that a lot of what people eat is very dependent on what they ate as a child. For instance I was hesitant to try fish sauce but one of my favorite foods is traditionally a raw fermented beef/pork product that is hung at about room temperature for about 30 days (pepperoni). I've developed a liking for fish sauce, when used properly it does a great job of accenting flavors.

I'm kind of fond of air, water, food, friends, family and a place to stay.

I do spend a lot of time thinking but it's not on just one topic (see self summary above). I even spend time trying to figure out women (the question was what do you think about, not did you come up with any answers).

Unwinding and or studying for the next test, depending on my schedule. Yes, it's depressing.

I can't spell, until spell checkers came along I had the choice of sticking to the words I could spell or misspelling everything. The first choice made it look like I only have a 4th grade vocabulary and the other makes me look like an idiot.
I spent a lot of time looking up the spelling so this profile wouldn't look too bad. I wonder if we could talk OkCupid into adding a spell checker to this site?
