My Self-Summary

Hey there. I cant really summarise myself in one little box like this so if you really want to know more you'll have to talk to me! I like bright colours and shiny things. I'm up for doing almost anything, anywhere, anytime; base jumping off NGV? No probs! I like funny people who don't get boring quick, someone who keeps me on my toes. All of my friends are real characters, my Indonesian best friend and I are crazy so you better be open to people who are a little "strange"...

I love all sorts of music, modern or otherwise. Same goes for art, food and movies. I adore my new kitten, my new hybrid bike (though I never seem to ride as much as I wish I did) and my four younger siblings. I dont wear make up or fake tan or do the "barbie" thing, I can think of better things to waste my time with, watching Biggest Loser re-runs for instance or perhaps attempting to crash an airplane by throwing a pigeon at it.

I have a love for martial arts, and used to learn karate through GKR and am trying to re-establish my training so I can get a bit more focus and discipline back in my life, not to mention my long lost stomach muscles XD I also love outdoor adventure sports; camping, kayaking, canoeing, hiking etc...

I can think of a lot of things less fun than making a fool of myself in public XD

What I’m doing with my life

At the moment I'm out looking for an in-between job so that I can move out of home and get started living solo. Once I've got a little life experience I'd like to do an outdoor education course (adventure tourism for all you n00bs who don't know what that is) and become the complete outdoors nut I've just realized I was always destined to be. The job kind of means lots of travel to far off countries and doing awesome stuff in the middle of nowhere :) Can't wait.

I’m really good at

Not feeling the cold. Seriously, if its 10 degrees outside I'll be wandering around in shorts and a t-shirt and honestly not feel a thing. I can cook pretty well and I play a whole pile of different musical instruments. I'm an average singer but I'm pretty good at drawing. I can also make ninja stars (shuriken) out of PAPER!!! I'm good at reading while walking places and not getting hit by cars when I cross roads without looking. I'm good at losing things such as my phone and wallet.

The first things people usually notice about me

Hmmm wouldn't have a clue... If I had to guess I'd say my hair. its boob-length, dark brown and usually a curly, messy mane (depending on if I had the patience to straighten it that morning which I often do not.) My grandmother always notices it and tells me to run a brush through it, even if I have just a minute before. It looks cool anyway, I reckon, even if it is very unruly.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books:
I've just finished re-reading the Assassin, Tawny Man and Liveship Trader trilogies by Robin Hobb. I was also subjected to the Midwich Cukoos (sci-fi) and Catcher in the Rye over the holidays and LOVED THEM. For god's sake, if you resemble Holden Caulfield in any way shape or form I want to have babies with you.

OK calm down *deep breath*

Movies:
Amelie, Kill Bill 1+2, Never Ending Story, Into the Wild, Hot Fuzz, The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus (though I didn't get it, but then who did?) Any of the non-English film's they play on SBS including the one about the Waiter, the one about the Chinese masseuse/hooker who get heaps of money at the end and Das Edukators or whatever it was called. Also animated films like Grave of the Fireflies, Spirited away, Princess Mononoke and such always make me squee :D

Music:
I don't limit my tastes in music to any certain genres or artists, but

The six things I could never do without

1. Cellular respiration

Kidding...

1. Food (I hate being hungry)
2. Exercise

Im out. I can do without pretty much everything, not too attached to the material I guess :P

I spend a lot of time thinking about

The sad absence of cowbell in my life.

You should message me if

You like what you see and/or want to know more :D
Please don't bother if you're considerably older than me, I get sick of deleting messages from men old enough to be my father/grandfather/great grandfather...
