Here are the stats about me, not who I am but the things that are important only in creating part of the picture. I have 3 children, one almost leaving the nest. My youngest is only 10, so still needing much of my time. I work full time and live in the suburbs so that I can almost afford my house.

More importantly, possibly because I have been on the planet this long, the bigger questions are becoming more and more important, such as how can I give back, what is my true nature, how to achieve inner peace and happiness. Material possessions are becoming less important, focusing more on my inner life. Quiet spirituality

I know, it sounds all very serious, I do pocess a sense of humor as well, love a good laugh. Being silly is one of my favorite pastimes.

I am open to learning, loving, and life

Raising my children, learning to be single again...after being in relationship for at least 2 decades. Creating my own independent life, finding out what I want in this life, what creates joy in my life. Looking for the questions, being open to change and adventure. Always learning.

Getting to the personal, really have no interest in a lot of talk about external circumstance. Psychology, human behavior, what drives us, why we do what we do fascinates me. I'm good at procrastinating and correcting other people's grammatical errors. Not so good at writing about myself.

Anything written by Ekhart Tolle, Marshall Rosenberg-non violent communication, anything about conflict resolution. Books about Buddhist Teachings, The Dalai Lama, Paul Eckman, Daniel Goleman, and many, many more.

Music - ambient, world music, such as Prem Joshua, Goton Project, Cafe Del Mar, Buddha Bar, St Germaine, Salif Kieta, Brazilian Girls, to name a few.

Food- most ethnic foods, love atmosphere of Greek, variety of Indian, taste of Mexican, generally if I go out to eat,it is the atmosphere and the company.

I can never remember the names of movies, there are many i have loved, mainly ones that make me think, or touch my heart.

My own private space, close connections with others and myself. Nature, movement - in many forms walks, dance, hikes, cycling, being near water or the ocean or a beach. Books, sense of humor,

Thinking, ya thinking about thinking...not being wrapped up in whatever emotion, feeling or thought passing by. Being present, getting to know myself, how to enrich the lives of others. I also think a fair amount about intimate relationships, what might work, what doesn't, what I want.

Going to bed early, have to get up at 5am Saturday to get to work...argggh.
Working on a social life...any takers?

hmmm...in person i am pretty open about my life, but on here, yikes, I feel strangely self conscious. There, that was kinda private. Okay, I sometimes miss having a lover, one day I would like to be in a closely connected, yet maintaining our own lives kind of relationship...working on my independence right now.

Sometimes like to rent romantic comedies and eat junk food.
