My self-summary
I'm interested in accessible art, stories with soul, and alliteration. I also appreciate some good old fashioned wordplay. Listen to a lot of podcasts.

I write things and have lived in New York since college. Born and raised in Northern California, but I am FINALLY starting to dig having real winters.

I've never had a normal job, and that's alright by me. But I have worked in reality TV, and worked nights. Life is weird. As I've gotten older, I have absolutely, 100%, gotten less mature, in the best way possible.
What I’m doing with my life
Writing plays, movies, the occasional TV show or short story. I 'm trying to figure out how to get out of the city whenever I can, since I have no plans to leave the city any time soon. I help run a non-profit theater company, and work in sales for a renewable energy company to pay the rent. I see a lot of plays. My room mates never see me, but they often see the pie I baked. Trying to figure out cooking and yoga and other grown up hobbies. I live in a cabin in the backyard. For real.
I’m really good at
Banter, puns, plans, and Monday's crossword. Also, ignoring plans. I'm also a pretty good whistler, if I do say so myself. Expert dog petter. Great houseguest.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm a snappy dresser. Is snappy something people say? I'm also wearing a beard.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: The Grapes of Wrath, Game of Thrones, The Sun Also Rises, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, Never Let Me Go, Mrs. Dalloway, The Adventures of Kavalier & Clay, recently I really enjoyed The Night Circus, and I have a strange soft spot for YA.

Movies: Casablanca, Amarcord, Manhattan, Young Frankenstein, The Master, Monty Python and the Search for the Holy Grail, Moon, Her was soooooo good.

TV: Farewell Breaking Bad! Community is finally back to nailing it, Louie is brilliant, Adventure Time is wonderful, Bob's Burgers was such a great surprise, and I'm pretty pumped for True Detective. Friday Night Lights & Deadwood might be greatest of all time??

Music: Bruce Springsteen, Girls, M83, Titus Andronicus, Childish Gambino (dude's changing, always changing), Ella & Louis, Johnny Cash

Food: All
