My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I know who I am and I make no apologies for it. What you see is what you get, and if you like it that's cool, if not that's cool too. I'm not pretending to be a skinny blonde, so you don't pretend to be a nice guy if you're not :). If you're just looking to hook up, please don't message me.

I'm a big girl who loves to laugh and loves life. I've had purple hair (blue briefly) for about the last five years. I can be the girl who takes two hours to get ready or the girl who lounges in her sweats. I enjoy binge watching Netflix as much as I enjoy going out for drinks. I love music. I can't master an instrument or sing on key, but I still love the shit out of it. I interned at a music venue while in college and fell in love. I'm a pretty easy going gal, if you want to know something, just ask? Multifaceted but not complicated.

A bit old fashioned when it comes to dating, but what I'm looking for is someone to challenge me, inspire, and show me new things.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Moved to Southern Illinois from Michigan to be a full time nanny to four kids (I'm crazy, I know). I work retail on the weekends, and help out at a bakery when they need it.

Trying to decide if I love the music business more than I love cosmetology and hoping to go to school for whichever one I decide. Or Both!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
laughing. Hugs, I don't give those wimpy hugs, I give good ones-- it's a confirmed fact. Painting my nails (kinda my shtick) . Solving my friends tech problems. Having the time of my life at concerts. Music Trivia. Knowing what movie that actor is from. Singing Gold Digger and Bust a Move for karaoke.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
The purple hair is kind of an attention getter. Smile. Freckles.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Movies: Way too many. Currently anything with Tom Hardy or Tom Hiddleston in it. THEY ARE BRILLIANT. Anything Christopher Nolan does. And David Fincher. I love sports movies and super hero movies (though lately I'm on the villians side-- Bane, Loki). The Oceans 11 trilogy. 21 Jumpstreet is currently my favorite comedy, and I'm a chick so I do love some chick flicks.

White Collar
Friday Night Lights
Sherlock & Elementary
Saturday Night Live
MTV's The Challenge (team CT!)
Game of Thrones (my brother made me watch and now I'm all in. Team Tyrion!)

Music: I love music. I think it's one of the most important things in life.
Rock/Punk/Alt: 30 Seconds to Mars (Jared is one of the most inspirational people I have ever met. I love Tomo's laugh and I could literally listen to Shannon play the drums for days.)
Fall Out Boy. Paramore. New Politics

Pop: JT forever and always. Beyonce, of course. Kelly Clarkson. Jessie J.

Country: I love 90's country, the stuff I grew up on. Garth Brooks, Tim McGraw, Clay Walker.

R&B: The Classics-- Smokey, Marvin, Temptations

Singer/Songwriter: Jason Mraz, Tony Lucca, Joe Firstman, Sara Bareilles

I think Pharrell is the most underrated genius. Loooooooove his work.

I don't think anyone really likes just one specific style of music anymore so I enjoy a wide variety. I do tend to lead more towards a pop sound but I'm open to anything. I love, love, love music so I would like to meet someone who also loves it.

I can't even lie, I'd much rather watch the movie than read the book. I know that should change but I'm a visual person!
I will never, ever read 50 Shades of Grey.

I love ketchup? We do have Taco Tuesday every week but I like all the basics-- American, Chinese, Mexican, Italian. Trying to be more open and try new foods.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. Music
2. Best Friends
3. Panda's
4. Ketchup
5. Mario & Luigi
6. Storms
7. Hard Cider
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Why my mother let me believe unicorns were real until I was 25.

If I will ever be able to afford to hug a panda.

Shhhh. I actually kind of like to watch football. Even if it's not #80 on the Detroit Lions.

What Tim Riggins is doing now.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Now that I'm a nanny? Mostly bargaining over one more cartoon before bed and hoping they actually go to bed so I can catch up on the DVR. Sans kids, I like going out and seeing what the city has to offer or staying in and seeing what that has to offer.

I was blessed with having friends who weren't "typical" so my Friday nights used to range from getting sucked into a YouTube vortex, playing trivia games till 3am when you start to question your friendship, making stupid videos, having dance parties, causing good natured mischief, etc. Not a huge club person but everything in moderation is good!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I wasn't joking about the unicorn thing.

I refuse to touch raw meat.

Lots of people think I'm Hawaiian and most of the time I do not correct them.
