I'm a nerd. No other way to say it. Don't let that stop you from reading and/or skimming further though, chances are you've never met a nerd like me before. I play video (and sometimes board) games, I hobby around with computers (I built mine), and I can keep up with most people in a scientific or philosophical conversation. I love movies and drawing (I've been known to combine the two), ceramic work and wood carving (not as compatible as movies and drawing...). It's been a while since I've done any real art, its been a lot of sketches and doodles for the last few years, mainly due to pencil is not my preferred medium.
I enjoy a good hike (with my weekends working, it tends to be about once or twice a month), and love to relax at a coffee house after. I love trying new things and retrying things I hated years ago.
I love the rain and everything that goes with it. I lived in southern California for a touch over a decade, and as a result, 30 days of sunshine makes me grumpy.
I am a bit of a home-body, but when I do go out, it's to a show or event I want to go, and I expect and enjoy when my friends invite themselves along. I'm the guy at the club that never dances, only has one drink, and has a great time.
I'm a very open book, loyal friend and listening ear, so I'm told. I love small talk and strive for quality over quantity in my friendships. My preferred social setting is low-key, small group. This doesn't mean I hate people, I'm just not as warm and fuzzy to strangers as I should be, though I'd curl up with any girl that has morph-ball technology.
I often score INTJ on Myers-Briggs adaptations.
The Personality tab on my page is worth a look. after 2000+ questions answered, I'd say its getting a good feeling for who I am.
If there is one thing this profile has taught me so far, I have a hard time remembering to capitalize my 'I's...
I'm a gamer, looking for my player 2.
