The icy touch of her soft lips pressed against mine. I could hear the voice of her heart, the deep sadness within, a feeling that touched my heart. Her eyes so uncertain so naïve as I looked at her kind hearted smile she used to hide away her true feelings. I took her hand looking into the blue icy gaze she now tried to advert from my piercing look. Her hand as cold as her lips, I felt the slight shaking not of cold but of fear of the lingering gloom that waited for the wail of the banshee. I knew the cruel harsh reality of this existence words just a comforting lie. Amidst the shade of this world there is always a warmth of hope that burns in the most hidden of places. I wanted to share one even if it was just a fleeting moment. I pulled her closer as her eyes gazed back into mine pulling her into my warm embrace and wrapping my arms around her with all the love I could give. She smiled a true beautiful curve on her lips as I felt her chilled heart kindle to the warmth of my feelings.
