Hi people, thanks for stopping by! Who or what am I? ...eclectic, alternative, intelligent, well-read, progressive, sensuous, self-actualized, and adventurous... I've got a good sense of humor (and I hope you do, too!). I love the arts: music, both recorded and live (I WILL dance at a live show), movies, fine art, design, architecture, fashion as art. I also start to fade if I don't get out in nature on a regular basis, especially beaches. I like a nice mix of urban stimulation and country/small town chillin.

I am a floral designer as a profession. I love to photograph, draw, paint and do mixed media pieces. Interior design, gardening. I can't knit tho.

Edit: no jobs in floral design in this economy, so I've begun nannying, and I am loving the twin babies I sit for.

I love to read about and talk about the history and relevance of world mythology/religion. I am especially interested in Goddess based religions and sacred sexuality.

I'm rather outgoing. I like to talk to people and find out what makes them tick.

Food: Yes, I like food and wine. I enjoy all kinds of ethnic foods (esp Asian). Day to day I focus on lots of fresh fruit and veggies, seafood. Dark chocolate (for my health! I swear!).

I've developed a sensitivity/allergy to nightshade plants in the last decade (there's a reason some people think they are poison). It sucks, but recently I've learned how to make Nomato Sauce, which is making my food-life so much happier.

Chardonnay, pricier Pinot Noirs, IPAs, rum with anything. I enjoy inventing cocktails.

Books: in my bookcase you will find lots of books on the history of religions: Egyptian, Abrahamic and Celtic; as well as Joseph Campbell, Colette, Fitzgerald; biographies of Eddie Izzard, Kurt Cobain, John Lennon and Rudolph Valentino; deSade; books on gender-queer issues; books on lactation and gentle parenting; books on art and design movements (Art Nouveau, Art Deco, the pre-Raphaelites, Frank Lloyd Wright, Japanese woodcuts); and a smattering of sci-fi and fantasy.
