My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I love to cook. If I had to say one thing, I love to cook or more specifically I love to create things for people to enjoy. There are few satisfactions greater than watching someone enjoy something that I made just for them. I like to think of myself as a artist with no talent for drawing and almost none for music. I like to create things, learn about how things work, build things from nothing...I am a tinkerer and a constructor.

I am intelligent, entertaining, and innovative
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I scuba dive. I like diving and exploring underwater. I like to geocache. Seeing new things in the world is a fascinating adventure even if it is only for a lunch hour. I train in martial arts three times a week. I don't do it to be tough or anything but almost as a form of dance. I enjoy that hobby most of all right now. The physicality of it and the economy of motion is like building a tiny interpretive dance with others learning about themselves and how they move.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I am really good at being entertained by the smallest of life's nuances. There are so many things in this world that are worth watching and enjoying. I enjoy laughing and finding reasons to do so. I am good at cooking as I stated above. I think I am good at that based on the feedback that I get from people. I love watching people smile as much as I like to.
I am really good at solving problems and figuring things out. I like to learn new things and I pick things up quickly.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
People sometimes comment about my humor but probably my shaved head. That is a pretty prominent feature and you must get to know me for anything else and I am sure by then you may have "noticed" something already.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Ooooh, i love to read. I read mostly fiction, fantasy, and technical periodicals. yeah, I am a geek mostly. Some of my favorite books are: Jonathan Livingston Seagull, Chronicles of Tao, The Republic (Book 7), Odd Thomas, Ender's Game, Lord of the Rings, Nuts & Volts magazine, MAKE magazine, Discover magazine, there are so many books and I would hate to attempt a comprehensive list because I will miss so many.

Movies I enjoy: Mindwalk, Eyes Wide Shut, Clockwork Orange...I am having trouble remembering some recent favorites so I am going to come back to this.

Food: I love food. I have two limitations though that make me appear picky. I am allergic to gluten (flour, etc) and I don't like anything sweet. I love all asian foods (Indian, Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Korean, etc). Italian food is mostly comprised of flour so I can't eat that anymore. I like traditional southeastern american food (greens, grits, cornbread, etc) and I have a serious desire for corn tortillas and potatoes in all varieties. I love German food, Irish, Mexican, Brazilian, Ethiopian, Lebanese (I love lebanese), Greek, Afghan...there is no limit to the foods that I will try to add to what I love to eat and what I can learn to cook. As long as it doesn't have flour or sweetener. I make homemade yogurt, homemade cheese, I can make bread from scratch for dinner guests (since I can't east it), I can make pies, quiches, thai food, homemade sausage...I can cook or learn to cook almost anything.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
There are not 6 material things that I could not do without at one time or another.

How about this: friends, responsibility, hobbies, foods to cook, sunglasses, and a snuggle every so often.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Things that I can build. Things that I can create. People that I like to help. Ideas that lead to hobbies. Gadgets that sounds really cool but usually end up in a closet. Spending time with friends or lovers. Fun activities to distract myself from household shores. Problems at work that need solving. Problems at home that need solving. Problems that are fun to solve.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Not doing that much. Sometimes I go out with a friend to a pub or a movie but usually I like to work on the computer for the house or the office. Sometimes I read. Sometimes I build things or fix things around the house. Sometimes I go out for a night drive in the car, on my bicycle, or on my motorcycle. Sometimes I meet friends for dinner. I guess I have no typical Friday night plan.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I guess something private about me is I am often a romantic and I like to do things for a lover and I like to do things for friends. I get taken advantage of sometimes for that and it is upsetting but I still like to do it.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You think I am interesting, you think I might be interesting, you think I am awesome (I am). You should message me if you like intelligence and are annoyed with movies that are not internally consistent. You should message me if you like lasers. I like lasers and we might have an interesting conversation about them. Then again, everyone likes lasers.
