My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a multi-generational Arkansas native interested in Ozark folkways and traditional healing practices. I love being out in the woods foraging for yarbs and digging up roots. I'm a talkative mountain man with a love of cooking and relaxing on the porch. I'm a pipe smoking Quaker nonconformist, a budding folklorist, and a banjo playing bearded weirdo.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Grew up out in the country and currently living in town. Trying to finish up my MA at the University of Arkansas and thinking about starting another one. I'm an Ozark traditional healer, a cure and remedy collector, and an amateur folklorist.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Cooking, identifying wild medicinal plants, brewing up yarb broths, smoking cigars, keeping food out of my beard.
