I used to be a workaholic always trying something new to make money, driving myself an those around me nuts. I've slowed down and get more done now. Doing so has allowed me to focus my energies on what I'm best at. So although self employed is usually code for "loser who lives with his mom," I've been able to earn a living working from home and have achieved a decent work/life balance.
I love to be around people. I am extroverted and social. My favorite place to be during a party is mixing cocktails. I can be sarcastic and can entertain with a good story and I'm very rarely the one who wants to go to bed early.
My life is hectic being a single dad but it is ordered chaos. People often ask me "how I do it" referring to raising my kids, working full time, shuffling kids to and from their numerous activities AND have a social life. I always answer that I "just do." it critical IMHO to take time for oneself, for what's and who's important in one's life. Plus people help out all the time - I love living where I do. Such a nice community.
Oh did I mention I can be long winded at times? Sorry, but it's just my tendency to be thorough that causes longevity in what I write and talk about.
So... A few interesting and/or random facts about me as parting thoughts:
