My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hmmm... Where to start? I guess I could start with my name. My name is Ashleigh, pronounced like "Ashley" just spelled different *lol*. If you couldn't tell by my username, I like make-up. But before you judge me, I don't wear it that often. I could wear it, but I really don't see the point of wearing it when it's just going to melt off my face due to work. I work at a deli, where I constantly open a hot case full of fried things where a heat lamp is on for extended hours a day. Hence the not wearing make-up often. Also... Make-up is more of a form of art to me, not so much a beauty/vain thing that all us girls do. It allows me to lose myself while "painting my face" as I like to call it. I'm not your average girl, but then again I am. My humor is EXTREMELY dry... Like Las Vegas. *ahem* that was a joke, quite a horrible one if I might add. But at times it can be crude, but I NEVER mean to offend. I am a nerd. I like to read, mostly in the fantasy genre, and/or science fiction. Some video games, WoW, RIFT,(I just recently got into WoW, but so far I like it.), Mortal Kombat, 90's kids stuff mainly. I have about twenty different laughs, and one of them includes snorting, wheezing, or hyperventilating. Also, I tend to have explosive laughter. I always dig myself into a hole, and I keep saying things that just make it worse, don't know why I can't stop it. I think that's enough about me, gotta have information left for the other boxes.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
If it wasn't obvious before, I want to be a make-up artist... I'm working 7+ hours a day at a deli, for that dream to come true.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I'd say I'm good at being a friend, I'm extremely loyal. I'm also a poetry freak, I've been told I'm good with poetry.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I guess my glasses... I'm not really sure. I don't typical ask people what they first notice about me... If you ask me that would be a little odd. Lol
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: His Dark Materials trilogy, Inheritance Cycle, James Patterson, Dean Koontz... Stuff like that.

Music: Oh god, this could be awhile... Boyce Avenue, Mayday Parade, bands from the late 90's, Chiodos, Papa Roach, Linkin Park. I don't just stick to one artist and love them entirely, if I like the song or songs I like it. So it differs really.

Movies: Sucker Punch, Pitch Perfect, Cabin in the Woods, pretty much any Musical, I like a lot of movies, I just don't feel like listing them all.

Food eh, I like Mexican. That's pretty much it. I mean, I eat other things, but that's the typical "type" of food I like.

True Blood, Rupaul's Drag Race, getting into the Big Bang Theory.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. Friends: They understand my weirdness and I understand theirs.
2. My iPhone: I originally hated them, but I finally got one and I love it to pieces. It is my baby.
3. Music, I need my music. Whenever I listen to music, so many images and feelings run through my head... It's like music therapy.
4. El Niño's Salsa. That stuff is bomb.
5. Finding hope in strange places. It's kind of cheesy... but whenever things go wrong, it's all I have left. It keeps me going.
6. Someone who understands me. If I don't have that I don't have anything.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Pondering the mysteries if the universe... But then again who doesn't do that? I'm always thinking, it never stops, and sometimes it prevents me from sleeping most nights.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Usually working, until about 9 or ten. Then I either go home and complain about how people are rude for no reason. Or hanging out with my close friends.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I act like I'm 15 sometimes, but I believe that seriousness has it's place but so does immaturity.
