My self-summary
I remember seeing e-harmony commercials on TV 10 years ago and thinking to myself, "Why would anyone ever join that online dating scene? That's so weird." But, O how things have changed! I love meeting strangers and hearing their interesting stories, making new friends, and maybe even finding something more - hence, you are now reading this and here we are.

I grew up in Fort Lauderdale, FL and spent the summers in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. I studied engineering at Duke, worked in NYC, and am now venturing a new life in Sao Paulo. I work in finance for a large bank and also run a digital marketing agency on the side.

I love rock climbing, white water kayaking, bonfires, star gazing, milkshakes, grapes, my grandma's home cooking, summer camp, attempting to create things out of clay, writing poetry, and all board games, especially when they involve settling Catan

I try to get outside the city most weekends to experience nature, but also love hanging out in the city. I could spend days upon days learning about our world (and others) at the natural history museum, it's absolutely fascinating. I also try to get to the park some days after work to throw around a frisbee, slackline, or just run around outside.

I once spent a year traveling around the world - Tonsai, Thailand is paradise and Milford Sound, New Zealand is epic. I'm looking forward to spending a couple more years traveling around the globe again, but this time, working interesting jobs all over. Maybe be a firefighter in Australia and a mountain guide in the Swiss Alps, work in a winery in Italy, research penguins in Antarctica, volunteer in Uganda, live in a Kibbutz and eventually hang out for a while in Cali, Boulder and Asheville.

I also love competition!
What I’m doing with my life
living it!
I’m really good at
rallying people to do crazy/fun things, extreme outdoor sports, most things involving numbers, and never being bored
The first things people usually notice about me
definitely my bulging glutius maximus muscles.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Jack London, especially The Call of the Wild and To Build a Fire, The Lord of the Rings, Papillion, The Three Musketeers, Shogun, The Count of Monte Cristo, and of course, Goosebumps. Ayn Rand intrigues me, but I can't fully accept her philosophy.

I love happy movies, Kung Fu films, and crazy directors. Some of my favorites are Out Cold, Pan's Labyrinth, The Matrix (the first one only), O Brother Where Art Thou, Pulp Fiction, and the Nightmare Before Christmas. Sadly enough, I also really like romantic comedies.

I love all music, even country, and especially bluegrass!
The six things I could never do without
Rock climbing
The pristine outdoors
Games & competition
Being challenged
Great people
Smores over a campfire
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The next adventure
On a typical Friday night I am
dancing forro, at a bluegrass concert, camping in the mountains, doing some completely random, unique, spontaneous event
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I used to be a major chess nerd... I also know far too much about Lemur ecology and behavior.
You should message me if
you love doing fun, new things and Zeh Hayom!
