My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I have always found myself preoccupied with the joy of laughter, the ecstasy of music, and the adventure of exploration. I tell stories, real and imagined, to celebrate the idiosyncrasies of life. I am interested first and foremost with truth, compassion, and making connections that stretch unnoticed into the middle of the night.

I am an artist, musician, and a sometimes actor. I am a gentle giant, loud and passionate with a penchant for making people laugh. I fight for the equality of all people. I am a confident man on a journey never finished, blessed with amazing people in my life who continue to show me new paradigms. I love language and communication and I am not afraid to use it.

Light and sound continue to inspire me. I find the smell of forests at night to be intoxicating. I believe that the best way to light today’s room is with last year’s Christmas lights. I am always down for long drives to nowhere with the intent of getting lost. I love progressive rock songs that go on for way too long, listening to them way too loudly.

I love singing harmony with friends and finding harmony in those moments.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Expanding my knowledge of the world. Exploring love and relationships. Enhancing my communication skills. Finding new ways of escaping the rat race. Singing and playing the six string with my band on stages throughout the land, until my calloused fingertips become hard and glossy. Finding calm and seeking peace. Rocking out in strange environments. Trespassing.

I am also a sometimes citizen of Slab City, working on a board of directors with the post modern assemblage art encampment Eastjesus.org. It is a habitable, extensible art environment founded by the late Charles S. Russell. The place is just pure magic.

I work freelance mostly, and am studying programming and web development.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Making people laugh. Comedy is my way of dealing with the world.
Singing. I find more satisfaction in that than almost anything.
Music. Though I’m still working on it.
Loyalty. I’m a damn good friend.
Late night adventures. I’m spontaneous and dangerously inquisitive.
Theatre, though I’ve been away from it for a rather long time now. Sad face.
Knowing a little about a lot of things.
Pop culture references
Cooking, as of late.
Overcoming obstacles.
Throwing a damn good party.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My monumental stature. 6’7”.
My mustache, which I try to keep styled in a wry curl.
People say that I have an all enveloping warmth, backed up by my eyes.
A fine collection of hats.

Stories.
The stage.

Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.

The atmosphere of East Jesus: Music drifting out of the piano room, the open fire, the desert wind, scuptures looming in the dark, the distant fire of .50 caliber test rounds. How people live in Slab City year round. The downfall of patriarchal society. Gay rights. Women's rights. Going to India, living in an ashram. String Lights. Amazing food. the perfect guitar solo. Accordions. Urban exploration. Urbane exploration. Writing. Writers. My Friends. My love.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
This isn't private, but i'm in an open, primary relationship with my lady love GlitterDoom. She is a beautiful, witchy woman.

I have a deep love and fondness for Disneyland. Not necessarily Disney. I also love Secular Christmas. A lot.

I'm also a pirate or something.
