My life exists in shades of shark...

I love sharks. I'm a microscopist specializing in confocal and epifluorescence microscopy. I have a wonderful partner of nearly 2 years that I'm currently in a polyamorous relationship with based on mutual respect and trust. (His profile is toml_uk if you're interested)

I also used to work as an autopsy technician so I'm pretty good at cutting open dead people...

Books: A Photographic Atlas of Trauma Pathology, Fundamentals of Light Microscopy and Electronic Imaging, The Shark Chronicles
Movies: Riki-Oh, Wild Zero, Purple Rain, Jaws
Shows: I don't really watch much TV, but most nature documentaries and Top Gear (not the American version though)
Music: Is a bit too complicated to narrow down, I have favorites in most genres.
Food: I appreciate most food and will try just about anything once. My favorite depends on what I'm in the mood for.

Out with friends, at a show, or in the wilderness.

I technically gender identify as male/two-spirited, but okcupid has limited gender options. I'm female bodied, and for a variety of medical reasons will probably have to remain so.
I only joined this site because my partner did. I don't really do the whole online dating thing, but it might be nice to make some new friends.
