My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm an apparently heteroromantic asexual and am primarily here for the novelty of answering some of these ridiculous questions. I am very philosophical and political, with a hungry mind, a thirst for new experiences and an appetite for debate. While I am here primarily for the questions, I will not turn up my nose at an opportunity to make new friends or find acquaintances who wouldn't mind having an adventure.

Traveling is a great passion of mine. I would love to travel the world someday.

While I may present myself as an entitled, elitist prick, I do immensely enjoy humor of almost any variety, am very easy to make laugh. Almost all types of comedy beyond hardcore slapstick (a la Stooges) appeal to me. British Humor such as Mitchell and Webb, Eddie Izzard, and Monty Python is a particular favorite of mine. But I also enjoy dark comedies, like Death Becomes Her, sarcasm, and simply ridiculous or witty, like Arrested Development.

I dabble in the geekier side of things. I'm a gamer, in terms of videogames, board games, card games, and even roleplaying. Comic books are something I have a great deal of interest in, particularly those relating to Catwoman and the Wally West Flash. Even if he has been blinked out of existence by DC.

I like knowledge just for knowledge's sake. Particularly science, but theology, mythology and ancient history all interest me.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I am gradually saving money in the hopes of moving to another country in the near future, particularly Australia, Canada, New Zealand, or perhaps the various Scandinavian countries. Sweden, Denmark and Norway all look wonderful. Iceland, too. I'm a little more reluctant, however, given the language barrier.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Writing in particular is a passion of mine. I'm a decent artist as well, and have a gift for logic and science in particular. Academia and knowledge, even in the broad and abstract sense interest me immensely.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Perhaps my stature, as I am kind of tall for a woman. If someone is more inclined to notice the posterior, I am greatly endowed in this regard.

Personality wise, it may become evident that I have a penchant for being brutally honest. I have been described before as having a large personality. And I admit to having quite a dominant and willful streak to me.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
My music tastes are extremely and incredibly eclectic. For the most part I enjoy music of every genre barring country and the most bubblegum form of pop. I love Classical, Soundtrack, Symphonic Metal, Metal, Blues, Big Band Jazz, Industrial, Trip Hop, Electronica, Soul, the Oldies, Classic Rock, Hard Rock, Alternative, Progressive Rock, and a variety of other things I can't even think to mention. Music is fairly important to me.

Books wise I don't read nearly as much as I used to. High school and required reading assignments sort of robbed me of the pleasure of reading. Despite my more progressive leanings, I love the Fountainhead. I also enjoy Flowers for Algernon, and quite a few other books.

Movies wise, Shawshank Redemption, Cool Hand Luke, V for Vendetta, the Lord of the Rings trilogy, and a few others.

Shows I enjoy are Futurama, Arrested Development, Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, Batman Beyond, the Justice League, Batman: the Animated Series, the original Avatar: The Last Airbender, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Man vs. Wild, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Mythbusters, How It's Made, and more.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Aside from the essentials, obviously, I don't know. Paper and writing utensils, maybe. I could probably live without most modern necessities, although I would greatly miss electricity, air conditioning, gaming consoles, the internet and music. But as long as I had something to record my story ideas on and draw on, I'd probably be good.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The state of our country and the world. Political and philosophical issues as a whole are always on my mind, as is my future.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Doing tabletop roleplaying with a group of very close friends.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm not even sure what to say here. I'm phenomenally boring. Most of my secrets have to do with me being a private person instead of masking some taboo activity I indulge in.
