My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I recently had a self-summary on here that a lot of people thought was very funny. It always served to entertain, but revealed little of who I am, apart from being someone who can make you laugh. So, as with many things these days, I am letting it go, and trusting more to come from the heart. I am a man in the midst of a transition that can be best described as "spiritual" (as I don't know what the hell else to call it). This has nothing to do with any religion, it's more to do with a growing inner awareness. Opening up, stripping away, getting present--however we want to describe it--it's uncomfortable, but something greater awaits, and new adventures are there to be discovered.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Actor and writer. A piece I wrote and perform has toured some cool parts of the country (really dug Austin and Vancouver). I am passionate about working with passionate people.
The past year I've mostly acted in the plays of others--David Mamet, Caryl Churchill, Shakespeare, Arthur Miller, Howard Barker--and thankfully they are all of a family of eternally inspiring playwrights. It makes a big difference when the job at hand is simply to get out of the way of great writing.

I also head down to Mexico as often as I can to use my Spanish, explore, and eat way too much guacamole.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
• Ping Pong (you got game?)
• Ditching the boring adults at a cocktail party to play with the kids.
• I play four songs on the piano really well, and I play at least four or more other songs not so well at all!
• I can juggle fire, physically. Metaphorically only sometimes...
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My eyes. They are very blue.
This older girl I worshipped in high school said I was a big ass lipped motherfucker. Believe me, I took it as a compliment. And yes, my lips are "full".

I was in LA for a little while, and in the car I started listening to the book Shantaram. I got so into it I actually looked forward to traffic, and when I would reach my destination, I often sat in the parked car for another 20-30 minutes to keep listening.

This American Life
Ooh ooh a list a list!
Alright fine I'll just say the obvious:
Breaking Bad.
Are you still reading this list? Ok then...
Film of most any genre.
Nearing end of list...
Huge music fan, and have written some.
End of list (You made it, we're in the clear).

I drink yerba mate from an Argentinian gourd. If I saw someone else doing that I'd call them a fuckin hippy, and then ask for a sip.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Great meals with great company
Access to Wilderness
MY KEYTAR! (not really)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Art, Intimacy, and stupid lyrics to made-up songs. You should hear "Zombie Woman".
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Cliff diving and oyster shucking, or sand painting with Bhutanese monks--those are the ONLY activities reserved for Fridays.
Oh and I crash Friday Bingo nights in retirement homes around the tri-state area. Big $$$ to be made in the Poconos.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I got tied up once at burning man by a girl named "Cass".
She told me to behave. It hurt like hell. Don't know if I'll do that again, but I did find the whole bondage scene kind of hilarious.
(I'm not a "burner", but I am glad I went the one time--it was worth it.)

Also, I'm really into playing the ukulele. Shhh....
