I'm 29 and a teacher...I possess all of the qualities an amazing teacher should (and I'll be honest, a lot more). I am shy and outgoing at the same time, which is an interesting mix. I am funny and love to laugh. I am a great all around girl that people tend to want to be around. I value things in people like honesty, integrity, loyalty, and passion.

I am really passionate and driven in my career, and at this point I pour a lot of who I am into it. I am taking classes to finish up my masters and then moving on to get my doctorate.

building and maintaining relationships...using three dots to separate my thoughts...cooking and baking...gardening (weird eh?)...finding the good in others...not so good at writing little blurbs about myself.

I usually laughing or smiling, I tend to be sarcastic, and despite any type of weather I am wearing flip flops.

I read a lot, both for pleasure and for work so the list is long and distinguished (know the movie that came from?). I love the Harry Potter books (and I won't blame that one being a teacher), Nineteen Minutes, Tuesdays with Morrie, The Book Whisperer, and Change of Heart.

My favorite movies are a toss up between 80's flicks and Chick Flicks...Sixteen Candles, The Goonies, P.S. I love you, Goodfellas (didn't see that one coming, I'm sure). Really I love almost anything...

I watch Top Chef, One Tree Hill, American Pickers, SVU, any of the trashy tv on Bravo.

I like music I can sing (badly) to. I honestly listen to a little bit of everything so there's not one genre that I can nail down.

I am a total Italian girl (red sauce not white) but enjoy trying new things.

I don't know that I have 'great' things that I couldn't do without...some might be a tad shallow (forgive that, I'm actually a deep person).

-My family and friends (doesn't that kind of go without saying?!)
-My phone...I really do have to have a way to get in contact with people.
-A mani/pedi weekly. It is the most relaxing moment of my week...I am that girl that always has her nails done.
-My career...I love being a teacher and really it drives who I am.
-DVR...my schedule is so insane that I wouldn't ever be able to not have it at this point.
-Ipod...It is my one constant thing that no matter where I am, it makes it feel like home....it's constantly playing, even in my classroom.

how to be a better teacher (as cheesy as that sounds). I spend a lot of time thinking about friends and family...I am a really thoughtful person adn I try my hardest to make those in my life feel special and do nice things for them.

usually at a happy hour/dinner with work friends.....at a Blues game...hanging out at home making dinner...really there is no typical Friday night.

you can look past my need to use the three dots instead of making complete sentences. Also, if you're fun, can hold your own in situations, are funny, have amazing character and a beautiful inside.
