My self-summary
My friends say I love three things in life: Disney, cats, Jelly Belly jelly beans.

I have a cat who is my entire world. He's part maine coon and is a giant fluffy asshole. He's spoiled rotten from being bottle fed as a baby. He is pretty damn possessive and pretty much a jerk but I love him. I recently took in another rescue that's still in pretty bad shape.

I find excuses to "celebrate" every day. Even things as small as not having the bus hit the red light in front of my house is worth "celebrating". I love having parties and having people over. I love to cook so anything that gives me an excuse to cook for people makes me happy. I have friends over for dinner several times a week. They sometimes show up unannounced but that's okay. I usually have something on hand to cook! I believe it's the little things in life that matter more than anything.

What made you smile today? If you don't laugh until you cry each day, you've lost a valuable day.

I like to keep busy and have fun.

My big thing right now is trying to get back in shape/healthier again. I had some health problems the past few years, so trying to get things back to where they were in the past.

I also love to go dancing, particularly west coat swing at Lenora's ballroom. I used to play water polo so anything involving water makes me pretty happy. I crochet (usually during class). I have a list of baby blankets to be working on! Mostly I'm just running around being crazy. It's what I do best.
What I’m doing with my life
making my way in the world as I'm currently studying to be a vet. My dream is to work in a zoo.
I’m really good at
*Finding adventures in simple everyday tasks
*Coloring inside the lines. (Okay that's a lie I suck)
*Making coffee
*Keeping people happy.
*Throwing together last minute parties.
*Turning yarn into awesomeness.
The first things people usually notice about me
is the fact that I am completely adorable
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: Chronicles of Narnia, Hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy, Too Loud a Solitude, 1984, The Scarlet Letter, Harry Potter, Wally Lamb, and of course classics. My favorite book is The Scarlett Letter. I used to really like Jodi Picoult but I met her in person and she was a total bitch. And her stories are the same plot over and over again with different characters. She's just so damn good at manipulating emotion.

Twilight makes me want to puke.

Music: I will listen to anything that sounds right to me. I've been on a pop kick lately but I hate that I listen to the radio when I drive, it kills such good songs. I used to like country music because I thought it was meant to be funny. Then I went to the south and realized PEOPLE ACTUALLY LIVE THAT WAY! He really means she finds his TRACTOR sexy. What the hell? Now I can't stand it, but I still am going to marry a country singer (Jimmy Wayne) and I love Reba. That's about it though.

TV: Portlandia, How I met your mother, Raising Hope, 24, Scrubs, Bones, Criminal Minds. I also have a guilty pleasure of Big Brother during the summer and Dance Moms. God, those moms are crazy. Toddlers and Tiaras make me sick though. I've only made it through one episode of that crazyness.

Movies: Disney (duh), Monty Python and The Quest For The Holy Grail (I can quote 90% of that movie), A Walk To Remember, Pay It Forward, Juno, Christmas Vacation (My family watches that movie from July4-Valentines day), Jersey Girl, Rent, Garden State, Finding Forrester (I love that movie because I'm a writer)

Food: Normally, I pretty much live on carbs. However, since dealing with health problems and being on hormones that made my body go whack I've decided to try and eat healthier which is complicated since I refuse to eat veggies and don't like a lot of meat. I've also come to really hate pasta lately, but that's a story for a later date.
The six things I could never do without
kittens, Disney movies, Chapstick, newspapers, sugar, caffeine
I spend a lot of time thinking about
how many licks it takes to get to the center of a tootsie pop
On a typical Friday night I am
dancing, hitting up the spa, crocheting, reading a book, doing whatever appeals to me for that Friday night.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
crabs attach sea anemones and sponges to their shells to camouflage themselves and protect from predators.
