My Self-Summary
What I’m doing with my life
Outside of my work-life I'm still making time for my theatre and film projects, hanging out with friends, and trying to convince my dog that playing fetch with him while playing a video game at the same time is not disrespectful.
I’m really good at
Things I've taken up, gotten to varying levels of skill with, then dropped like sacks of rotten potatoes:
Flintknapping (making stone spearheads and arrowheads)- 6 months Ballroom Dancing - 9 years (actually got pretty good at this) Blacksmithing - 3 months (not done with this, but it's on hold til I can build a forge.) Leathercrafting - 2 years semi-professionally Archery - on and off most of my life
Most current hobby obsession: 3D animation (Blender.org has eaten my soul)
The first things people usually notice about me
The six things I could never do without
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Politics: Let's not even get started here.
Energy / Economic Crisis: I'm still amazed that politicians and economists believe that energy budgets within biological systems respond to purely economic models. In other words, I believe that the sentiment expressed by the statement "We'll switch to alternative energy when the market forces make it a better option" is just a tad short-sighted.
