By observing myself I change the outcome.

I am confident but rarely cocky, intense but rarely angry, stubborn but rarely without good reason. I have been lit on fire, seen my own bone (twice now), wandered through the ruins of Pompeii, and lived on both coasts. I seek adventure, excitement, a challenge, worthy friends to stand beside, and a chance to prove to myself what can be accomplished if I set my mind to it.

I tend to focus on how a person handles themselves and interacts with their environment first, then I pay attention to how they interact with myself and others after I get some idea of the first. This has resulted in me being quite oblivious when it comes to women most of the time, to the constant amusement of my friends.

And I promise I'm not always this serious! I wrestle with puppies until my face aches from grinning, and I am far too ticklish for my own good. I watch kids movies and have an irrational love for old Kids WB shows. I love to tell stories and to laugh with my friends until my sides ache and my eyes water.

Being Stuntman, cameraman, editor-man, or actor-man in student films, independent films, or just whatever will let me practice and apply what I've learned.

Training myself up for whatever physical, mental, or martial challenges might be on the road ahead of me.

Martial Arts, making people feel welcome, coming up with interesting new recipes and improving on old standards in my repertoire, defusing tense situations before anyone does anything stupid. Improvising. Making people comfortable with something they usually are scared of.

Massage (I massage by reflex when people are sore/aching, I don't like to see people in pain). Cracking peoples backs with a hug.

The obvious thing is that I'm a huge guy. I am 6'6" tall and I weigh around 215lbs in my skivvies. I have an athletic build, and I am told that I cut a striking figure.

An addendum: My absolute favorite genre in general is the Post Apocalyptic story. How humanity will recover or degrade after a total paradigm shift in how our world operates fascinates me.

The Departed, District 9, Finding Nemo, District B13 and the sequel, The Bourne Identity/Supremacy/Ultimatum, Accepted, V for Vendetta, Ratatouille, Wreck it Ralph, Warm Bodies, Blood Diamond, Inception, The Legend of Drunken Master, cheesy old 70's kung fu movies, the Doctor Who television series, Speed Racer (it's like skittles for your eyes), Blackhawk Down, Sherlock Holmes, Band of Brothers, The Pacific, Generation Kill. I'm a sucker for movies that look good and don't cut corners with the stunt-work.

Also movies that involve punching Nazis, such as: The Rocketeer, The Indiana Jones films, Captain America.

-Music-
Jazz, Dubstep/Electronic, Rock, Psychobilly/Rockabilly, Punk, Reggae, Some Hip-Hop/Rap, Metal, Johnny Cash, Cage the Elephant, Bassnectar, MC Frontalot, Professor Elemental, Dub FX, and a hundred-dozen others.

-Food-
Burritos, Gyros, Doner Kebabs, Lamb Marsala, Lamb Vindaloo, Thai Food, anything as spicy as possible, quality Pizza, Salmon, game meats (Elk, Reindeer, Caribou, Deer), Nachos, Mashed Potatoes with a ton of garlic in them, Steamer Clams, dozens of other tasty things. Sushi, as much as I can possibly eat. I might be able to survive off nothing BUT sushi given the chance. As long as I had enough wasabi.

I have also eaten what is purported to be the spiciest Curry in the world. I have a certificate and everything.

Why do I still like watching movies even though I watch them all day long for work?

Hanging out with friends, practicing my stunt skills, watching a movie, or playing a game of some kind.

I am terrified of moths, they just creep me out far more than they should.
