I'm a voracious reader and strongly believe in supporting public
libraries. As far as genre I'm fond of science fiction, history,
fantasy, horror, and the occasional western. But really I'll read
anything if I have reason to believe it's any good. Currently I'm
slogging my way through the Game of Thrones series. It's not bad
but I think it might be over-hyped a bit too.
I'm not too picky about movies, really. Although I'm often several
months behind on what is actually playing in theaters. There is a
drive-in movie theater down in Auburn that is open during the
summer - I love going there if I have someone to go with. :)
TV shows, I don't really watch anything regularly. It's usually
"whatever is on the History Channel or Discovery". Although I do
keep up with The Walking Dead and enjoyed Downton Abbey (though I
need to watch season 3).
Music, I'm tolerant of most genres except rap and hip-hop (which
are just too angry for my taste). My truck radio is usually on NPR,
occasionally country, very occasionally rock. I'm fond of a group
called the Protomen who play an odd sort of rock-opera style
neo-1980s music. Mucho bonus points for you if you've heard of
them.
Food, I'm really not picky. Though my Southern upbringing makes me
genetically predisposed to catfish and/or cornbread. You would
think I'd have learned to make good cornbread for myself given my
predilection for it - yet every attempt to learn has ended in
culinary disaster. Alas.
