Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am not sure there's much to tell - I joined the Army at 18
because I wanted the experience I'd need to run for political
office. Three deployments and some four duty stations later, that's
still the plan. Currently studying for the LSAT and heading to law
school by this summer. My interest is in Constitutional law and the
I am what you'd call a Southern Democrat - that is, socially
liberal, pro-gay rights and pro-choice, but also strong on defense
and have no use for fringed groups from the left and right. I
despise Occupy Wall Street as much as I do abortion clinic
protesters. Overall, I think that we need a more mature and
analytical approach to politics. The fellow Americans with whom we
disagree aren't our enemies. We have a responsibility to listen to
and work with them to build a better America.
I am ENTJ - and I fully buy into the Myers-Briggs personality
profiles from a scientific sense, though I believe one sometimes
does change one's behavior based what one's personality profile
consists of. It's kind of like a self-fulfilling prophecy of sorts.
Or perhaps a more accurate comparison is that it's the placebo
effect of personality types.
I am also an avid and quite good poker player. I believe it to be a
game of skills and thinking rather than luck; as such, it isn't
gambling. I am not looking actively for a serious relationship. But
I do like learning more about people and making friends.
As for relationships, I need someone who intellectually satisfies
me. If there is no intellectual growth in a relationship, what's
the point? For companionship and sex, there is always the bar.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
As mentioned above, I want to be a U.S. senator one day. If that
fails, I plan on being a Constitutional attorney for either party.
I am also told I'd be good at running an NGO - but that's not my
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
How about I tell you what I am bad at? Math, keeping organized,
dancing, singing, getting enough sleep, being nice to stupid people
and thumb wrestling.
Outside of work, I am also pretty bad at getting to places on time.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My shiny, smooth, well-shaven bald head.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Little Women is one of my favorite books of all time - I think it's
sort of a guide to being a good person, though I mainly read
non-fiction policy stuff. I am partial to Hemingway, though - and I
am a regular reader of the New York Times.
I cook a lot - mainly American South (which is not the same thing
as South American, mind you), but lately, I've also explored
As for music: Beethoven and Fountains of Wayne - and I am a sucker
for oldies and country.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
I am not sure there is anything I cannot live without, but I
definitely put my car to good use. I also love Red Bull, water,
politics, and books.
But the one thing I know I would die without is my ambition. What
drives me keeps me alive and gives me a purpose. I cannot imagine a
life in which I am done chasing goals and ambitions.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
politics, policy, nation-building from a foreign policy
perspective, why people behave the way they do, Constitutional law,
my future, and legal theories.
I also think about Football - although the Miami Dolphins break my
damn heart each year. And food - I love food.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I could be making dinner or out and about with friends; perhaps I
am at a poker table in Atlantic Ciity or on a cross-country flight
to tend to my now part-time Army duties.
Sometimes, you can also find me under the bar somewhere. But that's
a rare thing nowadays.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I write a lot of erotica - that's enough to "whet" your appetite
Oh, and I peed on the street the first time I was in New York City!
It was ... cleansing.

I've been around the world too many times and met too many people
to discriminate. I would love to meet likeminded people as well as
those with different values and politics than I do. I cherish the
latter because once we get past our differences, we start seeing
one another as human beings who are just as patriotic as we are. In
fact, I met a few Tea Party people with whom I bonded and whose
friendship I am thankful for, despite not sharing their beliefs. .
Likewise, those who share my same beliefs in leaning a bit to the
left prove to be valuable in the exchange of information and
I need smart and analytical people in my life. If you believe Obama
was born in Kenya, then you're probably not the type for me.
Likewise, if you say religion is the cause for sexism and do not
look at the various forces that create sexism, then you're kind not
for me, either.
But most of all, if you like food, then I like you!
And lastly, if you get speechless and breathless over the
Constitution, its history and the complexities and constraints, as
well as the beauty of it, then you're more than welcome to say hi!
