My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I drove here from Arkansas in June. Why? Because Portland is so damned awesome. And weird. I like weird, it entertains me. I wanted to start a new chapter in my life and I was given the chance to stay in Vancouver by a friend. I think the three months I've spent here so far are the happiest I've had in a while, maybe more than a decade ago. I came for the aforementioned weirdness, the diversity, the opportunity to explore new spiritual territories not available to me in Little Rock and for the astonishing amount of things to do. Right now I'm heavily invested in meditation and Zen Buddhism.

My hobbies include astronomy, reading, science-fiction clubs, darts, golf and dancing. I like to hike, but not when the trail would be challenging to a goat. I work out two or three times weekly. I'm learning about vegetarian diets from my roommate. I'm romantic and sincere and faithful. My hugs have a high satisfaction rating by J.D. Powers and Associates. Consumer Reports gives my kisses the totally red circle, which is their best rating. I'm not an addictive personality. I'm a Libra. My Myers-Briggs personality type is INFJ.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I moved here to make a change in my life and I'm in a really happy place now. I've worked hard and I'm finally ready to connect with another human being without dumping a lot of baggage and hangups on her.

Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.

On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
My Friday nights are never typical. Let's watch the latest episodes of Sherlock on Netflix together that night with pizza and a bottle of wine. Let's go out for sushi! Let's go hiking at Lautorell Falls. Let us be right for each other for a change and have fun with life! Let's not have a typical Friday night together for a long, long time.

My heart leaps every time I see 'Cancer' listed as someone's sign when I'm reading a profile. My first response is to think of the disease, not the Zodiac.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
If you realize that endless messages back-and-forth and re-reading a profile are a poor way to get to know someone and that non-verbal communication gets lost in the e-mail. I'm looking for a match, not a pen-pal!
