My self-summary Propose an edit

I am a recent college grad, and I'm still trying to figure out what I want to do with my life. I think I may want to be a teacher. I've been teaching HS biology since the start of this school. I'm an outgoing guy who likes to talk. I play in a soccer league and run the occasional road race or cross country race. I'm a pop culture nerd. Lately, I've been really into the theories and philosophies that drive governments. Only time can tell if this is a passing fad, or a lifelong passion, or something in between.

What I'm doing with my life Propose an edit

After graduating in May 07, I worked for a biotech company for a year doing laboratory work. Turns out, that isn't for me. So, after my lease expired, I quit. After a summer of a little unemployment I'm now a high school biology teacher. It's so far been great. The days are long, but you get so many off that it balances out. I'm also the asst. cross country coach.

Books: Vonnegut, Sam Harris, Richard Dawkins, To Kill A Mocking Bird, Harry Potter, and generally anything that could be described as "a collection of humorous essays."

Movies: Star Wars, James Bond, Lord of the Rings, Dumb and Dumber, Little Miss Sunshine, Ghostbusters, Back to the Future, Remember the Titans, Caddyshack, Old School.

Music: Bruce Springsteen, The Killers, AC/DC, Queen, OAR, The Wallflowers, Social Distortion, Billy Joel

Food: I'll try anything.

And why isn't TV listed in here? Some people bitch and moan about how there's no good TV shows, but to them I say hooey! 30 Rock, The Office, Lost, The Daily Show, Colbert Report, Weeds: open your eyes people!
