My self-summary
I am a dog-loving, intellectually inclined girl with a sense of humor and a passion for traveling. I'm open minded and immensely enjoy stimulating conversation, cool people, and good reading. I can definitely be persuaded to put down the Foucault if, and when, there is something funny/witty or exquisitely trashy on TV.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm a research assistant at a policy research think tank. I'm new-ish to DC, originally from LA. Before DC I was living in Mexico City whilst on a Fulbright research grant, and I must admit I miss the beautiful chaos of Mexico City.
I’m really good at
Making people laugh.
Loud mariachi gritos.
Dispensing questionable advice on any array of topics.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Why Frida would ever go for Diego. Clearly, she was too good for him. Ughh.
On a typical Friday night I am
wearing comfy sweats and watching a movie or out at a chicano hipster bar.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I have a soft spot for the Rocky film series, especially Rocky IV. But really, who doesn't want to see Drago lose???

You should message me if
you'd like to go to happy hour with me at my favorite Dupont dive bar.
