Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I was born in the South, but five states later, I have no
discernable accent. I was a happy kid with two older brothers and
the indisputable favorite – though my mom will deny it publicly. I
was analytically creative so I defaulted to the more practical path
of engineering where I enjoyed circling answers that tumbled out of
long messy equations.
After college, I did what any self-respecting money hungry
undergrad does when he has no clue what to do next- management
consulting. Got to work 80 plus hours, pretended like I knew a lot
about ‘best practices’ in industries I had never even heard of and
lived at the concierge lounge at your local Marriott. Once I was
able to palm my platinum status, there seemed no need to continue
onward, so I opted to live in the African bush for two years
pondering life and trying to make my existence mean something in a
more noble context.
Earned my celestial stripes – went back to school so I could have
student debt and now I am gainfully employed in a job I love. With
the professional life in check, it seems the personal life could
use a little help.
