My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I find myself at a difficult cross section of my life, too young and too old all at once. My youthful appearance throws people off, my quiet demeanor hiding something incredibly complex. I feel like I am waiting for something to happen, yet I have no idea whether I am supposed to make it happen, or it will happen when it is supposed to. I meet each morning expecting that day to be "the day," and live it as fully as I possibly can.

I am witty, intelligent, and insightful. I have a knack for dispensing advice while disregarding advice given from others. I am shy yet outgoing, meek yet cocky, and simultaneously silly and serious. I have been told I have a personality as big as the world, yet I feel so small living on this rock. What I really need is a companion; not a clone of myself, but someone who brings out the best in me while I am bringing out the best in them.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I work for a small IT firm, working on computers for both consumers and businesses. It is mostly rewarding, occasionally frustrating.

I adore my children. :-)

I taught myself to crochet, right now I can make a fairly decent scarf. Next I shall learn how to make hats. I plan on eventually making hats and scarves to donate to children who have neither.

While I am always singing, recently I have been singing cantor at church. It is a wonderful feeling to place my faith in audible terms.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I can take things apart and put them back together with no visual cues or notes.

I am very good at randomly making people smile and laugh when they are down.

Drinking coffee.

I have been told I have an awesome singing voice, I may sing for you unexpectedly.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My hair, eyes, or the random comic book/retro video game/bacon worshipping shirt I might be wearing.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: My favorite novel is 1984 by George Orwell. I like other novels and short stories, but I spend most of my allotted reading time on technical works.

Movies: Pretty much every trilogy ever released, The Big Lebowski, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Pulp Fiction, V for Vendetta, Moon, and Inception.

TV: I am not much of a TV fan, but I make exception for Doctor Who. Reality TV has largely chased me away from being a regular watcher of the tube.

Music: I listen to nearly anything. Favorites are Dave Matthews Band, Silversun Pickups, The Black Keys, and all classical music. Lately I have been getting into more indie music, The War on Drugs, Grizzly Bear, and Dawes are sounding pretty good to me.

Food: The only thing I have ever tried and did not like is sushi. I think it had something to do with the place I tried that sushi though. Mexican food is my favorite, and the spicier, the better.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1: My lovely children.
2: A moment alone with our Lord.
3: Music.
4: Coffee.
5: Learning something new every day.
6: A nice pint.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How can I be a better Christian?

My amazement at how apathy and ignorance have taken our society captive.

Coffee. Or bacon. Or both.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Nothing, truthfully. I have not been on a proper date lately, maybe you could help me change that?
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I feel terribly out of place just about everywhere I go.

You like coffee too.

You are interested in musical adventures for fun.

You enjoy exploring this odd, oblate spheroid we are living on.

You are as comfortable staying in as you are embarking on previously stated adventures.

No flakes allowed; I have been put through the ringer because of people who do not know what they want in life. I enjoy stability and I hope you do too.
