My name is Mark. I always think we should get introductions out of the way quickly. What's your name?

I'm a happy, romantic sort that wears his heart on his sleeve.

As well as wearing my heart on my sleeve, i like drinking coffee. I feel i should be more confident to ask people out for coffee, as individual coffee can be lonely, whereas mutual coffee can be brilliant, and may even lead to mutual cake.

I like scouring charity shops for random bric-a-brac, maybe i feel some sort of connection.

I like cider, but i do not like perry. Bleugh.

I can quite happily sit and watch the weather change.

I'm looking for someone to spend time laughing and being happy with. Either friends or the other.

At the moment i'm in a seriously 'Get fit' stage, mostly so i can get the most out of this life. I love running (well jogging) and swimming, and would like to find someone i can share this past time with. Also stopped drinking pretty much because of this, but then again, i've found i've never needed a drink to have a laugh.

I like eating out, and eating in. I like going to the movies, the theater, to see shows on the spur of the moment. I like art and reading. Photographs and photographing.

I like bad jokes, but tell inappropriate ones.

I feel that swearing has lost its impact. I try to expand my vocabulary because of this, as well as other people's outrage/laughter. I also love antiquated language when appropriate.

I like going out for breakfast, or late evening strolls for ice cream.

I love cooking, but even more so for people. I like to make nice things that people enjoy eating.

Being a Gok, I'm apparently awesome at makeovers. I do like helping people choose clothes. And shoes. And makeup.

I've been a glamour photographer and i would love to get back into that. (I say glamour, it was more fetish-y stuff, but, by the by) I love capturing women in ways that say who they are. I've also done a good deal of gig photography as well.

I'm awesome at Rockband! I was told to correct this to Guitar Hero, as GH is obviously better.

I like paying attention to people.

I like going exploring and feeding the ducks.

I like sitting, and cuddling and spending all day in bed, maybe with a quick escape to make some nice breakfast to share from the same plate.

I like dancing with people, close and slow or fast and frenetic. I'd love to take up salsa, if i had a partner who could tolerate my ineptitude which would manifest itself in the first few lessons.

I'm nice with a sometimes misplaced sense of humour.

I dance inappropriately when I'm happy.

I play with my hair and talk like rainman when i'm nervous.

Why limit this - I like a lot, and am willing to try new things. However...

Films: action, comedy, romcoms and things that are absurd. Some recently notable examples of films that i have enjoyed include:
World's Best Dad
Grave of Fireflies
What a Way to Go. (I know this is very old and slightly surreal/whimsical but it has Paul Newman and Dick Van Dyke in it)
Cloverfield

Books: scifi, comics, Americana, hippy and beatnick stuff.
Examples here seem appropriate too. Authors i like include, Richard Braughtigan (Sombrero Fallout is brilliant), Jim Dodge (especailly Stone Junction and Fup), Neil Gaiman (I heart shape Neverwhere and American Gods).

Music: rock, country, bluegrass, anything really with a guitar, or maybe a piano. At the moment my ipod is rocking Tom Waits, Metallica, Tool, Kyuss, Rodrigo Y Gabriella, Johny Cash to name a few.

Doing something new, or revisiting something that i've had fun doing before.
