My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hello, I'm Mark Eliott. My life consists of mainly three things; God, Music and Love. Music is my life, and nothing other than my commitment for Jesus will surpass my love for music. Yes, I'm looking for that certain individual who will complete me in the right time. Unless God says otherwise, I don't believe this is the time. Although I am interested in dating, depending on the person.

I am musically-minded, idealistic, and independent
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I play indie folk music, and am focusing much of my time on becoming a recording artist. I have one record out and I'm in the process of recording two new records which will be released simultaneously. My ideal life is of making records and touring about the country (or further), in addition to having a family of my own (many years from now).
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I'm highly skilled in my music (guitar, vocals, songwriting, harmonica), and I'm also pretty good at graphic arts (which I employ when needed). I normally write at least one song a day, which helps to keep me sane (and happy). Songwriting keeps me connected to who I am, it's an important part of my mental process.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
At first I appear to be extremely friendly and easy to know, though most people never get any further than that. Though in the contrast, it takes a lot of time and effort to really get to know me. Though if you do, you'll be rewarded richly with far more love, dedication and commitment than most guys can ever provide. That is if I consider you worthy enough for me to take time away from my music.

(a) I always take time to read my Bible. I enjoy reading the works of Shakephere; especially Hamlet, MacBeth, and the Sonnets of Shakesphere. I also love the poetry of T.S. Eliot.

(b) I don't watch movies. In fact, I believe that just about every movie ever made is complete shit, period.

(c) The following are a few of the artists/bands I like; Bob Dylan, The Beatles, Elliott Smith, The Mountain Goats, Pedro The Lion, Neutral Milk Hotel, Jeff Mangum, Cat Power, Ben Folds, Ben Folds Five, Devendra Banhart, Donovan, Miighty Flashlight, The Places, Bright Eyes, Jeff London, John Vanderslice, Cursive, Desaparicidos, George Harrison, Hayden, The New Motels, Call And Response, The Walkman, Death Cab For Cutie, Matt Pond PA, Irving, Modest Mouse, Joan Baez, Wolf Parade, Nick Drake, Pavement, Sonic Youth, Kepler, The Thermals, Of Montreal, Stars, Ugly Casanova, Kronkite, Richard Swift, The Grates, Pinback

(d) Food is not that important to me. I only eat enough, that I don't get hungry. Eating is just something that I must do to live. Now, I'll be completely honest. Overall, I don't like; any food that's even mildly spicy or sour (I can't even stand hot cheetos), Chinese food, Japanese food, most vegitables, most fruits, onions, soy products, salads, most conements (ketsup, mustard, sweet & sower, mayo, hot sauce, ranch, tartar, BBQ sauce etc.), you get the picture. But I do like; American food, Italian food, bread, pasta, meat, most seafoods, cheese, potatos, and many kinds of sweets.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. God, my life depends on the Lord.
2. Music, without it I would either die or have a fucking miserable life.
3. Love, a life without the experience of a true, dedicated, soulful love is not worth living.
4. Independence, I need to remain independent to a good extent no matter what the situation, or I'll feel like a dreary prisoner (and you don't wanna know what happens then).

That's all I need to happy.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I think about my future, and where I am going (musically, relationships-wise, and life in general. I always observe everything around me, and ponder over it (mostly regarding ideals). In fact, it's not unusal for me to spend hours on end just walking around and thinking out loud (or talking to God). I could litterly walk around a small bland room, and never get bored.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I'm either (listening to, writing or playing) music, or thinking about whatevers on my mind.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm a living paradox, I live by standards of purity, but naturally I'm drawn toward the unpure.
