My self-summary
Just moved to Edinburgh and am looking to get to know new people. ALL the new people!

Well, the good ones, anyway.

I love stories and I especially love writing them. It's my passion and it's what I want to do with my life. I also read comics and maybe like Batman a bit too much. I am a film nerd, but enjoy watching fluffy romances or silly comedies just as much as (if not more than) 4 hour black and white European films about trains. I listen to too much music and when I have the money I LOVE going to gigs. I also love to perform improvised comedy. It's the most fun.

I like to be creative and my dream is to be a full-time writer or performer. It would also be pretty great to find someone special to hang out with. So, yes.
What I’m doing with my life
Currently I mostly write. Or at least pretend to. I read a lot of comics and occasionally books, I watch a lot of TV and films... I basically just try to have a good time. Failing that, I sleep.

I also do Improv and was part of a troupe that performed at the Edinburgh Fringein 2011, which was my fourth time performing at the Fringe. I like to do silly things on stage...
I’m really good at
People say I'm okay at writing. I'll believe it when I've been published more than twice. Some people also laugh at the silly things I do on stage. That's one of the best feelings in the world.
The first things people usually notice about me
That I'm a bit of a geek. Who knows too many pointless things.

Then they notice I'm pretty awesome. And modest.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Okay, these lists were ridiclous so I'm going to limit myself to five examples that illustrate the kind of things I like...

Authors: Lewis Carroll, Neil Gaiman, Paul Auster, Raymond Carver, Agatha Christie.

Comics: Grant Morrison, Kieron Gillen, Ed Brubaker, Brian K. Vaughan, Jonathan Hickman.

Movies: Jump Tomorrow, Punch-Drunk Love, The Princess Bride, Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World, Three Colours: Blue.

TV: Buffy, Columbo, Six Feet Under, Seinfeld, Spaced.

Music: Los Campesinos!, Mogwai, Tegan and Sara, Jenny Lewis, Amanda Palmer.

Food: Cheesecake, cheesecake, cheesecake, steak, cheesecake.
The six things I could never do without
Friends, most importantly. Then comics, writing, performing, music and chocolate. In any order.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Batman.

Not in a romantic way.
On a typical Friday night I am
I don't have a typical Friday night... Most nights I'll be watching/reading/playing/writing something though.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I've never really been on a proper date. At least, not one where I KNEW it was a date. I've been informed about it afterwards, though...

Also have some OCD issues that I'm dealing with, so that's fun.

You are able to name all the participants of the Wacky Races AND their cars. Or even if you can't, but don't mind that I can.

Rowlf is your favourite Muppet. Or you have another favourite you will passionately make a case for.
