My self-summary
Peace on earth and good will to all men.

Plus I like chicken enchilada soup.
What I’m doing with my life
For the last few months, a lot of medical illos. I like feeling like a kid with a coloring book in photoshop and corel. Also, painting dragons and stuff pertaining to dragons.
I’m really good at
I can draw wonderfully, and I think an awesome date would be going out drawing somewhere fun.

I'm also pretty dang good at aikido.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm really tall and have a beard. And I love babies and animals.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
This section is very important to me, at least insofar as music is concerned - I find that a shared appreciation, if not outright love, of similar music to be an excellent indicator of meaningful relationships of all kinds.

I love post rock, Sigur Ros, Mogwai, Explosions in the Sky, Do Make Say Think, Mono. I also very much enjoy Neutral Milk Hotel, old Iron & Wine, American Analog Set, Beirut, Cocorosie, Led Zeppelin, Adele, The Avett Brothers, Efterklang, Langhorne Slim.
I have a definite preference for spontaneous, live acoustic recordings; example, some of Iron & Wine's best recordings are unreleased and sound like they were recorded in his kitchen with the window open some summer evening, and the Crackerfarm youtube channel has amazing recordings of the Avetts and Langhorne Slim that top a lot of their album work.

I've a more difficult time listing books here, as my tastes in that regard are frenetic, with 10 books sitting everywhere half-open for months at a time. TV shows face a similar dilemma - currently, I'm most interested in The Big Bang Theory, and Ghost Adventures. I enthusiastically pronounce my love for the former while sheepishly admitting the later.

I love food, and am absolutely open to trying new things, but making a list simply isn't possible. Of note is my overwhelming distaste for condiments like ketchup and mustard. It feels odd to admit that but I've bonded with people over that dislike before : )
The six things I could never do without
1) Star Wars t-shirts. There's a reason this is #1, which I feel should be obvious.
2) Calvin & Hobbes
3) Explosions in the Sky
4) The little screwdriver I keep in my wallet to ensure my glasses don't fall apart
5) A really good burrito
6) The love, kindness, input, admonition and wisdom of the wonderful people that I've surrounded myself with in my life. I firmly believe in the value of surrounding yourself with experts in many fields.

I've thusfar been unable to acquite superhero underpants in adult sizes, so my loins remain ungirded by Batman or the Ninja Turtles.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Dragons and barbarians and stuff.
On a typical Friday night I am
Drawing, probably. Preferably with other people.

And I hate oysters. Never again.
