I'm on this site because while I'm pretty darn awesome at being in a relationship, I'm not a big fan of trying to "pick up chicks" in bars and such... just feels greasy to me.

Ways I'm like most guys:

I'm not too nuts about watching sports, live games are fun but I don't follow any teams

I'm mature when it matters, goofy when it doesn't
I don't get angry easily and can keep a level head
I'm not a die hard hunter or fisherman (although I do fish occasionally)
I actually listen when people talk to me
I make decisions with the head on my shoulders, not the one in my pants
I think of a relationship as a partnership, not a dictatorship

I work for an advertising firm in downtown Minneapolis and I absolutely love it! While my job can be challenging and demanding, the people and company make it well worth it!

Off the clock I've been keeping busy with all sorts of stuff, namely getting/keeping in shape and some fun events. (Running 5K's, hiking, volunteering, bike pub crawl, Twins games, ect) I never really considered myself an athlete before, but being active is quickly becoming a passion for me.

I really want to get out and do some traveling, but my close friends are either in relationships or don't have the extra funds to spend on a trip, so if you're a travel bug that's a big plus!

Making people laugh, driving in the snow, over-packing for road trips, going with the flow, fixing things, finding the humor in any situation, and smiling at strangers.

Probably that I'm easy to talk to... and a complete smartass...

Books: I'm not a bookworm but I do appreciate a good read every now and then (LOTR, To Kill a Mockingbird, Call of the Wild, Lord of the Flies, Of Mice and Men, I Hope They Serve Beer In Hell, ect) My most recent read was the whole Hunger Games trilogy. And don't get me wrong, I'm not illiterate, it just happens that most of my daily reading ends up being online articles, or magazines while I'm on the treadmill.

Movies: Comedy, action, sci-fi, typical guy movies... Wedding Crashers, Super Troopers, Step Brothers, The Hangover, Anchorman, Hitch, The Transporter, Zombieland, Out Cold, Serenity, XXX, Fast and Furious, Heist Movies, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Breakfast Club, Back to the Future, Princess Bride, Star Wars, I Love You Man, and The Matrix.

Shows: How I met Your Mother, Big Bang Theory, The Office, Parks and Recreation, Community, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Burn Notice, Trailer Park Boys, Family Guy, NCIS and just about anything else on USA, Discovery, History or Comedy Central.

Music: Pretty much anything depending on the situation. It can range from hard rock, to 80's music, rap, ska, alternative rock, heavy metal, pop, techno, dubstep, top 40, classic rock, and even a little bit of country sometimes. A few of my favorite artists are Linkin Park, Eminem, Michael Jackson, Sum 41, Bowling for Soup, Foo Fighters, Metallica, Weezer, Green Day, Skrillex, Deadmau5, Pretty Lights and Girl Talk.

Activities: Running, road trips, disc golf, yard games, darts, sunset pontoon cruises, campfires, hot tubs, good beer on a patio, riding ATV’s, boating, grilling, cruising in a classic car, snowmobiling, hiking, camping, building/fixing things, board games, poker nights, traveling, happy hour, driving, foosball and The Chive.

Food: I’m a decent cook but I'd love to learn how to be an even better one. Now that I'm working in Minneapolis I'd love to get to know some of the great little restaurants around town, if you can recommend a place, I can probably set you up with a nice guy willing to accompany you there... ;)

Lately my weekends have been pretty busy, so Friday is usually rushing out of work, packing up and heading out for whatever adventure is afoot. If it's low key I'm all about a quiet night in to unwind, but I'm always willing to head out for drinks with friends.

In college, I once filled the entire front seat of my truck with snow by accident...

On a completely unrelated note, don't forget to close your sunroof completely before a snowstorm.
