My self-summary
I'm Mark and contrary to my username it's just Mark :3 I'm a future librarian and I like a lot more than just books. Sometimes I'm very talkative but other times I'm really quiet but I like talking with people usually and I'm always up for a beer! I love my cat and I'm a huge comic book nerd. I like sitting in my bed and watching tv. I like writing letters and reading. I wish I lived in a fantasy-like middle ages and I want to talk to you. We can talk about literally anything :3

My tumblr is a much better way to talk to me. If you have one we can trade urls :D
What I’m doing with my life
I got my undergrad degree in English lit and now I'm just waiting until August 15 when I move to Boston to go to grad school for library science!

My cat, Starbuck, is my entire life and if it weren't prohibited I'd have pictures of him only. He's a jerk but I love him.
I’m really good at
Thinking I guess. I really like to let my imagination wander. I'm really good at helping people and I have a painful conscience that forces me to be everyone's friend.
The first things people usually notice about me
I honestly couldn't tell you. My smile? I try to act happy around people.

I'm very composed on the outside, so I don't suspect people notice the craziness going on inside.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
BOOKS
The City and the Pillar by Gore Vidal, The Hunger Games Series by Suzanne Collins, The Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger, Leaves of Grass by Walt Whitman, Moby Dick by Herman Melville, and to keep the list short, I'll end at Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card. I read a lot, so just ask and who knows! This is just a short list of my absolute favorites. I decided not to update this list anymore because it's frustrating to keep up. Yo I like books get off my back.

MOVIES
I tried keeping this short...I failed: Elizabeth: The Golden Age, Star Trek (2009), Flash Gordon (1980), Les Miserables, Kill Bill I & II, Wall-E, Marie Antoinette, The Wind That Shakes the Barley, The Lord of the Rings trilogy, Pitch Perfect, V for Vendetta, and literally anything from Studio Ghibli. Seriously, if Ghibli made it or Miyazaki played a hand in it, I love it. I will never dislike a Ghibli movie. My favorite is Kiki's Delivery Service. Followed closely by Princess Mononoke.

SHOWS
Always Sunny In Philadelphia, Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack, Regular Show, Ed, Edd, & Eddy, Pushing Daisies, True Blood, Teen Wolf, and American Horror Story...I try to keep my television light.

MUSIC
The Killers, Beyoncé, Adele. Those are my mainstays. You're honestly going to have to ask about others because they come and go. Of Monsters & Men, Fleetwood Mac, Streetlight Manifesto, Lorde, Kanye West, Matt & Kim, Iron & Wine, some bluegrass...it varies.

VIDEO GAMES
I like Mass Effect, Skyrim, The Last of Us, and Uncharted. I'll play whatever but that's an expensive hobby I can't keep up with.
The six things I could never do without
-Starbuck
-Tumblr
-A good library
-Mike Mignola
-The Killers
-Earl Grey
I spend a lot of time thinking about
I'm usually thinking about what I wanna do when I grow up. My mind is usually far into the future.

Also thinking about going on adventures. Like with swords and shit. I need to vanquish evil.
On a typical Friday night I am
It depends on if someone has made plans. I'm more than willing to get drunk and go to the club, but I'm just as content with sitting on my computer all night or watching whatever is on television. I don't make the plans in my group of friends, so I'm very malleable in that way.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I haven't read all of the Harry Potter books and I don't intend to woops. I've read 3, 5, and 7 all the way but only because I like the movie counterparts.

I'm not really into sharing private details so openly...They're private for a reason!
I’m looking for
  • Guys who like guys
  • Ages 21–27
  • Near me
  • For new friends, long-term dating, short-term dating
You should message me if
If you're interested in the world and have quirks of your own, I'd love to talk to you! Talk to me about your school, or what kind of future you're looking forward to. I love it when people have things to tell me, even if they don't think I'll be interested.

Also if you've ever gotten seriously emotional over Greek tragedies (specifically Medea or The Bacchae) I'll probably ask to marry you so watch what you say.
