My self-summary
March is my favorite month of the year because I love college basketball. I have a knack for talking to anyone anywhere about anything. I always have at least five library books on my bedside table. I read the NYT and longreads religiously and deeply enjoy narrative non-fiction and journalism. I love running, playing soccer and a grueling workout. Nothing makes me smile more than interacting with a cute kid. I love hosting dinner parties and created cooking clubs in both of my last two hometowns (Philly & DC). I'm passionate about education policy, learning, March Madness, cooking, the Olympics, reading, American history and writing.
I’m really good at
cooking, doodling (i.e. elaborate pen and ink drawings, you can see some examples at www.arthousecoop.com/library/657 ), hosting dinner parties, talking to new people, geeking out about college basketball, writing, boggle and Scrabble, pub trivia, teaching, entertaining children, finding recipes worth trying.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Some of my favorite Books: Goodbye Columbus, The Big Money, For the Relief of Unbearable Urges, To Kill a Mockingbird, Marjorie Morningstar, A Widow for One Year, The Chosen, The Feast of Love, Interpreter of Maladies, The History of Love, The Year We Left Home, The Girl Who Fell From the Sky, Wherever You Go, A Fortunate Age, Something Red, There Are No Children Here, The Other Wes Moore, Whatever It Takes, Outcasts United, Play Their Hearts Out, Men We Reaped.

Movies: Shattered Glass, Kissing Jessica Stein, The Power of One, Newsies, Glory Road, Before Sunset, Major League.

TV: 30 for 30 docs, The Wire, Veronica Mars, Cash Cab.

Food: Love fish tacos, roasted vegetables, kale salads and salads with fruit.
