I am reclusive, weird, and a bit paranoid.

My Self-Summary

I don't know where in blue hell those awards down there come from. More Political? I don't care if stem cells get gay married and have abortions- I really don't. You let me do my thing, and I'll let you do your thing. I didn't realize that wanting to be left alone was a political movement.

I somehow managed to find/purchase TWO Dictaphones today. I have no idea what I'll do with them, but I'm stoked.

My apartment looks like Fritz Lang and Dr. Frankenstein exploded in here and I like it that way.

What I’m doing with my life

Being a cog in the great bureaucratic machine.

I’m really good at

Damage Control. Analyzing everything, Trivial Pursuit, trivial pursuits, doing research, tying knots, building things that catch fire, Scrabble, using my hands; being a dude. Coming up with offensive word combinations. Fixing stuff, Bullshitting and Having Charisma.

The first things people usually notice about me

I'm one of the few suits at my agency with clearly visible tattoos.

I'm kind of anal retentive about random things- there seems to be no rhyme nor reason to my retention.

I usually look pissed off, but I laugh easily.

I have most of my shit together.

I'm kind of anachronistic.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

My booklist could cover miles. You should recommend something. Lately I've been reading alot of Phillip K. Dick, but some of my all time favorite authors are Joseph Conrad, Charles Bukowski, Allen Ginsberg, Richard Matheson, Henry Miller, Hunter S. Thompson, Jerry Stahl, H.P. Lovecraft, William Butler Yeats, Neil Gaiman, Stephen King, E.A. Poe, William Burroughs,

The Maltese Falcon, Gattaca, Casablanca, The Big Sleep, Blade Runner, The French Connection, Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, Evil Dead, Permanent Midnight, Edward Scissor Hands, 1984, The Legend of Hell House, Naked Lunch, Doom Generation, The Shining.... Noir, Strangeness, Grit and Zombies... Also dumb comedies.

My musical tastes are all over the board. Flogging Molly, Bob Dylan, Frank Sinatra, Django Reinhardt, Grateful Dead, Paul Simon, Harry Chapin, Seals and Crofts, Rob Zombie, Alison Krauss, Gin Blossoms, Suzanne Vega, Bad Company, Beck, Belle and Sebastian, The Bee-Gees, Billy Joel, Melanie, Bob Seger, Cake, Neko Case, Bruce Springsteen, Counting Crows, Cracker, The Dresden Dolls, Warren Zevon, Social Distortion...

I like risotto, gelato, gyros, coffee flavoured anything, root beer barrels, Strawberry jam, Cheeseburgers, mushrooms, and basically anything you have to buy from a cart.

The six things I could never do without

A hole to hide in, Airs 'Rain' incense, good music, and a healthy mix of being solitary and socializing.

Also Miniature Golf.

Also X-TREME Miniature Golf (As above, but wearing a helmet)

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Non-sequiturs (The literary kind). Time. How to put a swamp on a mountain. Building a straw-bale house and raising alpacas.

On a typical Friday night I am

Usually just relaxing, getting mentally prepared for whatever asinine side-quest I find myself on over the weekend.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I generally have no idea what I'm doing.

You should message me if

You like listening to old music in the dark. We have something in common. We don't have EVERYTHING in common.
