I am clever, lackadaisical, and logical.
My Self-Summary
Right now I'm working at a job I enjoy with people I like. In my
off time I do a bit of writing, right now I've got a couple of
children's books and a musical on my plate. I do enjoy the video
games, but I don't play them every day. I don't mind going out for
some drinks, but be forewarned, my shirt is staying on and you will
get nary a hoot nor a hollar out of me.
Also, I've got great problem solving skills. If you've got
something that needs to be done, it may not be pretty, but it will
work.
What I’m doing with my life
As I said above, doing some writing, playing some games. Working on
my cooking skills. I've got execution down pat, and I'm fairly
confident in my improvisation.
I’m really good at
Playing the spoons.
That's a lie.
I have no idea how to play the spoons.
The first things people usually notice about me
Apparently I have a very casual gait.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
a) Neal Stephenon, Neil Gaimon, Phillip Pullman, Michael Crichton,
Orson Scott Card, William Gibson, Terry Prachett, Frank Miller, JRR
Tolkien, JK Rowlings, and travel adventure non-fiction. b) The
Princess Bride, The Royal Tennenbaums, The Life Aquatic with Steve
Zissou, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, Se7en, Fight Club, Edward
Scissorhands, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Office Space, Being
John Malkovich, El Mariachi, Desperado, Lock, Stock and Two Smoking
Barrels, The Adventures of Priscella: Queen of the Desert, Leon,
Snatch. c) Ani Difranco, Arlo Guthrie, Beck, Belle and Sebastian,
Ben Lee, Cat Power, Cure, Elliott Smith, Liz Phair, Noise Addict,
School House Rock: Rocks, They Might Be Giants, Scissor Sisters. d)
I enjoy cooking a great deal, just not for myself. Breakfast at
Marigold is a favorite of mine, though. t(e)levision: Right now
just Lost and The Office with friends (as in watching them with
friends, not as in kooky New Yorkers in ridiculously large
apartments Friends). This usually involves food preparation of some
sort.
The six things I could never do without
Well, since my comfort book is My Side of the Mountain, I guess I
could do without everything but a tree, a falcon, blueberry jam, a
fireplace, flint and steel, and an axe.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Why in the world did I decide to write a musical when I can neither
sing nor play a musical instrument?
On a typical Friday night I am
I'm either in or I'm out.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I've been meaning to learn how to knit for years, I keep telling
myself I'll go to the knitting store, but I never do. More than
anything, I'm afraid they are going to sell me the knitting
equivalent of "headlight fluid."
Also.
Before taking the Mythological Profile Test (and not knowing what
the different results could be) I told myself, "Oh man, you're
gonna be a unicorn." Turns out, I'm a unicorn.
You should message me if
You want to hang out with George Wendt. People keep asking me if
I'm related to him.
I'm not.
